If you have very large files, you may have to reformat the stick with large file support. I wouldn't save any data on it for long term storage. This stick is still working fine, but I had go USB sticks go bad on me. For regular work, it is plug and play.

I was going to buy an external hard drive because I needed storage to pass videos back and forth but I had issues transferring between PC and Mac as well as the limitations on My PC operating system not allowing me to save large videos. I saw this unit cheap and it was perfect for what I needed. I already recommended it to others.

It is very reliable. The only weakness is its speed which is slower than USB 3.0. However, this is acceptable when you consider the purchase price.
