sure it was just bad luck but mine crashed about week after opening it doing a simple file transfer.

do not buy this product it is not reliable. the product went bad after less than a month

I go through many flash drives, and this one is definitely my favorite. GREAT value, sturdy construction, durable, and fast for USB 2.0

I was in need of a flash drive to transfer a few videos that I had recorded off my iPad and had synched to my Macbook Air. I wanted to copy these recordings so I can share the videos with family. My larger file was 14GB (1hr 32min) and the other file was 10GB (1hr) with a few 300-600MB files. Figuring that a 32GB flash drive would have been plenty, I initiated the transfer. While the short videos copied quickly, the larger files would not. After looking at support info, I realized that I had to reformat the flash drive. After Googling it, I found out how to reformat the drive using my Mac which is pretty easy. Here's the link: Utilities.http://www.ehow.com/how_4927355_format-usb-flash-drive-mac.html I chose to format the drive to Mac X Extended (Journaled) and once that was done, my file transfers started working. It took about an hour to transfer 24.9GB. Although it was a bit of a trial and error initially, once I got the formatting sorted out, transferring was easy.

This flash drive was available at a very good price and met my needs. I bought two and am quite happy with them. I had to change the file system on one of the drives to allow storage of a very large video file, but that was easily done and worked well.

I bought a couple of these on sale, and have been happy with them so far. Copying an 11gb file to them takes about 20-25 minutes. (A comparable sandisk drive took an hour to copy the same file to). The only complaint I have is the cap. At first, I was unable to 'remove' the cap, then I realized my error, and was able to push the cap 'open' so the drive portion is exposed. I only wish once you exposed the cap, the little slide mechanism would stay in place better. As it is, when the drive is 'open', the slide portion will move around a bit. Not a huge deal, but it got in the way a couple of times when putting the drive into my computer. I probably would have bought the 'compact' version if it had been on sale, as this drive is a little 'big' in comparison.

It's small and works as it should. I've used plenty of flash drives that became corrupted after using it on both PCs and Macs, but this one has been working fine for a few months now. Not sure if that has to do with how it's formatted or what, but so far so good.

I purchased this drive for my office to give clients and vendors files. It has lived up to its reputation and works very well for everyone.

This flash drive has done everything that I've wanted it to do. Works great for what I'm using it for.

Purchased specifically to back up HD Video files. Worked right out of the box on Windows XP, Vista, and 7. Form factor is very stylish. FAT32 was not able to store files greater than 4 GB in size so I upgraded the file system to exFAT so that it could store larger files and be shared among Windows PCs and Mac. Transfer rates are good, can play HD video files over USB 2.0 clearly, and when formatted with exFAT the drive is found on Windows XP (Windows patch required), Vista, and 7. Overall a great purchase.

I love this flash drive, so small, yet high capacity and portable. Great value for price. Just plug into your USB drive load you information and remove. Now your valued information is available to take with you and transport to wherever else you need it. Yes, it is that simple!!!

Overall, it is a good addition for any computer system/user. The memory size and speed is great. The only distraction I have is the cap. It closes and protect the driver well, but when you try to attach it to the USB, many times the cover gets in the way.

I bought this drive for a data transfer off an old laptop and I was very pleased with the transfer speed and the size of the drive.
