Good enough for students to store all of their needs

This little PNY Compact Attaché 16GB flash drive saved my nerves from going South during the Win10 Upgrade process. Once I plugged it in, I had to do absolutely nothing else but press the appropriate button on the Upgrade Process Page and ... PRESTO ! ... had no more problems and the upgrade went without a hitch.

I bought this flash drive to make a "start-up disk" for my Mac Mini and MacBook Pro (Mavericks 10.9 upgrade). I could've bought an 8GB drive (which is all the memory needed for a USB start-up) for $7, but for $2 more I got the 16GB. I partitioned the drive so that I can use 8GB for storage and still be able to easily access the start-up disk when needed. With both massive external hard drives coming down in price and the proliferation of cloud technologies, flash drives are becoming less of a necessity. But nothing is as easy (and almost foolproof) to store, share, and access data than a flash drive. And at nearly 50 cents/GB, it's the most affordable and reliable option for archiving and protecting your smaller data.

I am going too use it take pictures off my old computer to transfer too another computer.

I got this flash drive while it was on sale and spent $1 on it. For what I paid, it was worth it and worked for a decent amount of time. Recently, I've noticed that the plastic USB connector has cracked and split open. The drive still works, but I don't know how much longer it is going to last. You get what you pay for with these things.

I took this on my month long vacation around America and uploaded over 300 pictures on it.

This flash drive is a good option for the student who needs to transfer papers to school. It's not to expensive in case they lose it but it's large enough to hold lots of information. Great choice for the price!

Took the files nicely and is just what was needed for this task, with room to space and grow!

My sister needed away to move files off her old laptop and she's on a budget. This gave her what she wanted with enough space to hold her files and something she could afford. Also, something I could trust since I was helping her out. Basic needs met at a bargain price, enough said.

I bought this flash drive on sale. I thought it was well worth the price. There was a different brand of flash drive with the same amount of space for triple the price. Awesome pickup in my opinion.

I bought this drive to hold music for my in car player. It fulfills that purpose for me.

This is an excellent flash drive. I used it to backup my photos from a recent vacation.

it is formated in fat32 , you can change it to ntfs and back again if needed. works great with everything i put it in. the slide protective cap is great, don't have to worry about looseing it.

this product was on sale for a good price and I wanted a cheap thumb drive for music to put in my gmc truck. so far no problems with this device and with the bonus points discount it was great.

This was on sale and very familiar with PNY products as being as reliable as others. Used to transfer pics from hard drive as a back up source to have as a back up besides just on the hard drive

Works as well as any other flash drive I've used and expect it to continue to do so.

I have used many different flash drives and did not have any problems with any of them. I got this one because it was on sale for a good price. The size is a little too small and can easily get lost but I needed one to backup files on computers for my church and this one was perfect for the job.

I bought this flash drive to store pictures and other files. The small size and super storage is just what I needed. I also use it to transfer large files from one computer to the other.
