I bought this to put music on...works great! Has plenty of storage space!

Not the fastest of Flash Drives but well worth the money. I've bought 3 more since this one as well as 2 16GB and 3 32GB.

The price was so good on this 8GB flash that I bought 2. Using a $10 member bonus towards the purchase ended up only costing me about $2.50 and for that it was shipped to my door in 2 days at no extra charge. Both drives work well and run at the same speed as any other USB drives I have owned (USB 2.0 that is). Good value purchase.

The drive works as intended. Not ideal for laptop or tablet due to size. It is in between a full size USB and a Nano size USB. I bought it because it was on sale for $6.00. Eight GB'S for six bucks, sure sign me up. I use it for ready boost, and use a different one for my laptop and tablet, a Nano size one for fluidity. With a Nano you don't have to worry about breaking the drive. You just have to worry about losing it.

Works for me and my Accountant who is 200 miles away. Just copy and mail.

Good drive, especially on sale. Get it if you need a drive

Have several of these USB flash drives to use for storage, personal, music and other files. After a couple of non-recovery hard drives crash I now backup all my important files.

I bought this a couple of months ago and have consistently used it, nearly on a daily basis. PROS: Size, capacity and looks. It doesn't have a cap, which is a BIG PLUS for me. Just another thing to keep track of and, most likely, would get lost. CONS: I've tried both normal usage and it converted to a TrueCrypt Traveler Disk. Basically in both circumstances, after a set number of uses, the drive becomes corrupt and has to be reformatted. This has happened a bunch of times. Thank goodness I'm IT-literate so I'm able to rescue most of my files when it last stops working using Linux tools, etc. Having said that, I have several other USB Drives from other manufacturers which I use nearly daily and have never come across the issue this unit has. I haven't done any kinds of tests on it, or the 16GB version that I own, but the only culprit is low-quality flash memory. CONCLUSION: This might be a good solution for occasional usage, but not for a daily one.

This flash drive worked well for booting a second operating system (UBUNTU).

I used this to mail copies of photos. Very easy and I like how it protects the connector.

I've used this flash drive many times and it works great.

Good drive, I have two and they haven't let me down, but the slide doesn't always stay in place when closed.

Purchased 3 of these because of sale price of $5.99 great price for 8gb. This Flash Drive is defiantly not worth full price of $17.99, Very slow transfer speed only around 4 MB.per second, compared to my Toshiba Flash Drive That Transfers Around 12 MB. per second. Also has kind of A tight fit when plugging into ports, But sure will be a little better after some wear in time.

I bought this drive, because I wanted to listen to music in my car. Honda Civic i-Mid system is unable to read this drive. I wrote a new partition table and formatted it multiple times and still nothing. I tried SanDisk and Microcenter drives and both worked fine. Save your money and buy a different brand flash drive.

Connection to key ring is a poor design that breaks easily. Loss in a public place could be a file liability issue.

I bought this item to back up music files on my computer. Occasionally, I'd add more files as my collection grew. I used this as an emergency back-up in case my computer ever failed. After 3 months, the product failed. My computer no longer recognized the drive and wouldn't let me access my files.I tried it on another computer and still wasn't able to access my files.

A manufacturing defect made it so the flash drive I purchased did not fit into a USB 2.0 slot. I tried calling PNY tech support which turns out to be an automated phone system with no live operators. If you have a better option I would recommend any other metal flash drive as this is poor quality.
