One was to speed up your PC is to put your registry file on a separate drive, and putting it on a SSD is even better. You'll also have enough room to put anything else that requires a fast access time.

The installation was really easy. SSD is extremely fast compared to older SATA drive it replaced. Highly recommended for making your older PC feel like new. Really a good deal price wise as well.

Easy replacement for a 500 GB HD in an older core duo tower . .already had mounting brackets . used western digital ghost software to copy OS..Almost like a new machine only $60.00

I have two of these drives. They work great with no issues at this point. I use one for the OS, and the other for my 2 flight sims. Will get two more of 500 GB capacity, as prices drop.

Used for a laptop upgrade. I purchased this one and the PNY CS1100 120GB to upgrade a couple of laptops while these were on sale. I upgraded the machines and gave them away as gifts.

I wanted to upgrade my boot drive in my HTPC to a ssd, so I purchased this drive. It is faster than a spinning drive for sure, but I feel it doesn't perform as well as my Samsung Evo ssd in my main PC.

The first time I turned on my laptop with the new solid state drive, it did not come on AT ALL. I was upset, and furious. I called the Geek Squad and they could not help me over the phone. I had to take it in again. When I got to Best Buy, the laptop started right up. It has worked just fine since. The computer loads faster on starting than it did in the past. And the functions are more efficient.

I purchased this item to put into a 2009 unibody Macbook (white). It is working as expected. We shall see if it holds up!

The Hard drive is an excellent value. Very fast access. The operating system loads within 15 seconds. I was amazed how much faster our computer is operating.

This is an AWESOME upgrade for any laptop! Load time for Windows 10 is less than three seconds after pressing the power button. I recommend this for anyone.

we put this in a touchscreen HP and it decreased our boot time greatly (20 seconds total). We would recommend for any laptop or desktop application.

Easy install. Used it to revamp an old HP all in one. Had to do some finagling to make sure it fit correctly, but the drive has worked flawlessly.

Purchased this brand because there weren't enough of the SanDisk brand for what I needed. So far working fine. Would still buy SanDisk in the future if available just because I am a long time buyer of that brand.
