Does what it's supposed to. Seems speedy, haven't measured. Is now my boot drive. Comes with no screws or other hardware so it's just sitting on the drive below it.

Replaced a slower SAS drive when I upgraded to Windows 10. Made an i3 laptop my daughter wanted to throw away into something usable again.

Breathed some life into an old laptop with PNY 240GB SSD

This SSD is used to transfer my media files from my camcorder, field recorder and digital camera. The transfer speed is amazing.

Bought it to replace slow booting hard drive on my lap top.easy to install boots fast and windows don't freeze up any more.

Have been using product for about two weeks now and doing good. Only downfall is best buy had short several hour sale where I could have gotten a larger drive for the same price.

I purchased this SSD to install LINUX on my laptop without having to remove the Windows O/S from the origanl drive.

I had an old Thinkpad that was never really fast from new. I thought I would spend a little money and see if I could improve it’s performance and extend it’s useful life. I installed this PNY SSD. Wow!! Huge performance increase for not a lot of money. It was a great inexpensive upgrade.

Drive was easy to install & I did not have to download any additional software or call any tech support number.

Swapped this in an older 2011 Macbook Pro and it made a huge difference in operational speed and general usage.

I got the SSD while on sale and it was worth more than the original price for me. It's super fast and no HDD that I have come across can compare. It's more than enough room to store my OS as well as to have whatever primary game I am playing installed to (I have a backup drive for everything else).

This is an incredible drive for the cost. It's some of the best Cost vs Performance bang for your buck upgrade.

First, get a small portable case to use this as an external USB drive. They are available with either a USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 interface. Then you can use it as a fast backup drive, OR load it up with a standalone OS such a Linux, or maybe a big collection of standalone debugging tools.

I replaced my current hard drive with this and the computer loading time has decreased dramatically!

Purchased this drive for my macbook pro late 2012 model. Use it for the boot drive and the plater for storing of data. Boot times are fast 12 seconds now.

This hard drive is great. I am using it for my programs and the startup is less than 15 seconds.
