I can't tell you how good the performance of this drive is because I've gotten nothing but the blue screen of death ever since I installed it. I only purchased it to load Windows 7 on so I could upgrade my main system to Windows 10. Windows 7 did load, but within 2 days I started getting the dreaded BSOD. I haven't returned it only because I'm too lazy to tear my system back apart to take it out. I guess you get what you pay for.

This is a great improvement to what it used to be. I have significantly more data available than before.

I really was hoping that this drive was going to make my system faster when in fact it did grrr help at all only hindered the whole computer. Basically could have plugged a 240 flash drive in the USB slot and it would have done the same thing.

Just a SSD in a box.. not even a manual. Not acceptable. Need to buy screws and a sata cable. Corsair next purchase for me.

Could not get my laptop to take until had to do configuration with bios not very friendly user too much work

It wouldn't clone or even read from clone device. I returned the one I bought.

Upgraded the old spindle HDD on my Thinkpad with this SSD and now it flies with everything from booting up, sleeping, opening apps, shutting down, etc. Price is competitive and it uses MLC so supposedly better than TLC. Only thing is you'll need to download a free cloning software and register online for 3 year warranty. I ended up using AOMEI Backupper since it's a small download and can do live cloning. Everything is working great after several months.

This SSD is good for every day use. It's not made to use for gaming or intense graphics programs, but if all you use your computer for is email, FB, etc it really speeds it up. My boot up time has gone from around 2 minutes to less than 45 seconds.

Great performance increase from standard hard drives. even though it is a 2.5 inch drive, it will still fit the same sata connection in a desktop, just mounting options are a little different. I've used two of these, one in a laptop, and the other in a desktop. no problems with either, boot times and program loading is tremendously faster

I picked this drive up to upgrade my wife's 13" MacBook Pro (Late 2011). I purchased the 240 GB version as she never really used more than 100 GB of her original hdd. Installing the drive was really easy. The computer feels much snappier now - definitely worth $60. The advertised read/write speeds appear to be fairly accurate.

Got this for 59.99 plus tax. Installed on a macbook pro, for two hard disk setup. No issue, no problem, no blue screen. Best value for your buck! Best Buy shipping is great as always. Hope it last for a long time. In case there is a defective drive, you know where to return! 300% recommend this drive IF you can catch the deal!

If you're still struggling with an OLD technology Hard Drive, do yourself a HUGE favor and upgrade to SSD! You will not believe how your machine will fly! This drive is a great price. I purchased 2, one for my desktop and one for my laptop. Installation was a snap. I would give it 5 starts but they don't include a "drive transfer" / data copy tool. (Acronis, etc.)

Upgraded my old HP laptop with Windows 10 and added this piece to it, bootable speed is so fast to 16 sec and no glitch at all. i would recommend this to any one who wants their process to load quickly

First one was DOA. Got a replacement and it works great! My Macbook Pro is the fastest its ever been! Price was great for 240 GB!
