Fast boot times, great price, decent size. As a gamer it is essential to have a ssd for fast load times in case of a crash. Definitely a good upgrade.

The best upgrade I have ever made to my PC. This thing boots lightning quick. I timed my PC from the time I hit the power button to fully booted and ready to go just under 9 seconds. I ran Win 7, 8.1, and 10 all with no problems.

Will turn a C- machine into an A-/B+ machine instantly. Assuming you don't need a ton of space I believe the 240gb is more than enough for most people.

It's a product that worth its price. Intel brand is better but they costed more than what I wanted to budget for.

Got this on sale, and overall it's a good drive. Not as fast as other SSDs I have but I just need a cheap upgrade for my second drive and this works just fine for that.

Got this to upgrade a 120gb Intel in my laptop and while benchmarks show it slightly slower I wouldn't know it otherwise. Got it at a good price on sale.

Good storage not to much nor few made my pc boot faster and run the programs faster . it worked with Windows 10 great for $ 65. Will buy more

Any upgrade from a standard hard drive to an SSD is a huge upgrade. I watch for these drives to go on their regular sale and pick up one or two when they do. I currently have 6 of them running in various machines. Laptops, desktops and one in a server setup. They have all been running strong and most of them are running 24-hours a day. I call out that these are an entry level SSD due to the fact that they do not have the R/W speed of some of the performance based SSDs. I would buy these again and regularly plan to do so. :)

Originally bought the Sandisk 120 GB SSD for $62.00, but had to exchange for this PNY CS1111 240 GB...paid the $14.00 extra to get double the storage. It is running good. No problems. Installed Linux Mint 17.2 from flash drive 3.0...I don't think it took more than 3 minutes to install.

Advertised as a 500MB/s read and 300 write... But priduct box sayd 430MB read. Still ok for the price... But, just fix the speed on website

Pretty good for being a non OEM Solid State hard drive

i am using this drive to boot my win. and also installed some software that i use, i have a separate 1tb wd blue drive for my games, problems started a day or two days after i started using this drive, it just randomly freezes!!! at first it was a few seconds and my system would come back now sometimes it is up to 30 secs to a min almost!!! and i am afraid it is going to get worse and worse and it'll just die... you might think something else might be causing this problem but my pc never froze when i had my wd blue harddrive and also i went to google and found out there are a great number of people with these drives having the same problem. if you really like pny products i suggest you to look at the xlr8 line of ssd drives they have apparently they don't have this problem. Don't do the mistake i did and do your own google research!!!
