bought 2 of these hard drives and installed one in my sons old laptop.. this new hard drive woke the laptop up. it works with windows 10 very well.now. .the old hard drive was so slow. could not believe it was so much faster. would highly recommend this drive for future use.

I used this ssd to complete a barebones with a fast i7 processor. The system boots up in under 15 seconds from post, and almost immediately from sleep. Quite a difference from my old PC. Now if it just runs for as long as the old one. Call me in 5 years for a follow up. ;o)

Great SSD for the Price, good way to speed up your older laptop or pc.

This was very easy to install and the boot speed is very impressive.

bought 2 of these, one for one of my laptops and for my GFs, my laptop is quite faster but expected faster read/writes - 350MB/289MB. my GF mini laptop showed even lower scores... again, not the fastest but does boot faster and works flawless. have a seagate SSD on my primary laptop with 470MB/405MB, still keeps up at almost 2 years running same benchmarks

It's an a entry level SSD drive. Not the fastest drive, but it works. It was also the least expensive drive, so for the money it's a good investment. Your computer becomes a FAST COMPUTER without buying a new PC! Most SSD drives boot Windows 7 in about 35-45 seconds! If you use the old fashion drive, the boot time can easily top 2.5-4,5,6.... minutes!

I bought three of these. I upgraded a 2010 Mac Mini, a four year old HP laptop and a 2009 MacBook. All run great and it's amazing how an SSD will breathe new life into an older computer.

For the price and the performance, wow, this is one excellent product to bank upon. Have been using it so for inside the personal server for ERP upgrades (install, upgrade for learning and experimenting) and it does wonders... no complaints...

I put these guys in every new computer that I purchase for the office. It's cheaper than buying them pre-installed and you see a huge speed increase in load times. Can't recommend it enough.

Got this drive to replace a sata drive that went out in less than a year. Had a conversation at the store with a store employee and a customer, both very helpful in my decision to go the SSD direction. Best thing I've done. Noticably faster.

I support dozens of laptop computers and this has become my standard upgrade for speed. So far no failures. No noticeable performance difference between PNY and other SSD brands. Will update regarding long-term reliability in a year or so...

Much faster than IDE OR SATA. Takes less space in case.

This is PNY's budget SSD, and the performance is far better than other budget SSDs from Sandisk and Corsair. The Silicon Motion controller is a plus and better than the Phison controllers used in other budget SSDs. Working well in my PC.

Best bang for your buck. SSD drives that just works

I copied the hard disk in my old Lenovo X100e using a device made for that job. I installed the SSD with no trouble at all and I booted fine. I am now running Win 10 on a unit that was almost unuseable and it is working quite well now.

Luv this SSD. My HDD took 3 mins and 15 seconds to completely load up and start considering all the stuff i have on my desktop. Now with this SSD it takes 25 to 30 seconds tops. My Photoshop and Lightroom 6 both open alot faster as well.

I replaced an older MacBook Pro's old 5400rpm drive with this SDD and boy is it night and day. It brought new life into this old tired mac. I would highly recommend anyone with an older MacBook pro to upgrade their HDD to a Solid State.

Extraordinarily fast performance. The drive is also feather light. Everything else (form factor; connectors; installation) is the same as a standard 2.5" drive. Besides ram this is the best way to speed up a laptop's performance.
