Customers are pleased with the CS1311 120GB Internal SATA III Solid State Drive's performance, price, and ease of installation. Many appreciate the improved boot times and the transition to a solid-state drive. A common concern, however, was the limited storage capacity of the 120GB model. Some users wished they had opted for a larger capacity drive.

Didn't work for what I was trying to accomplish. Spend the money and get a 512 GB SSD.

Turned out to be a bad Disk, and ended up having to return it. Bought a Kingston HyperX instead.

This SSD is fantastic! The speed and reliability have been great so far. Its gives a massive performance boost to old and slow systems. Great SSD for the price I paid.

Good, Inexpensive SSD

The title pretty much gives it away, but this is a good budget friendly SSD. I picked one up on sale for under $40.00. I replaced an aging 7200 RPM mechanical boot drive that I had in a secondary system. The difference is amazing. I would not hesitate to buy another one, however, if you have the extra cash and want some added performance then I would save up for a Samsung 850 EVO. I have one in my main system and it blows the PNY drive away. Either way this gives a nice (and cheap) performance boost when coming from older mechanical drives.

I bought this to replace a slow hdd in my laptop.
I cloned the hdd to the ssd using Macrimum Reflect Free software as after 6 tries I gave up on the Acronis software.
This is a fast SSD & put new life into my aging laptop. My only regret is not buying a larger capacity.
I definitely recommend this PNY SSD.

Good product for laptop

Ended up installing this on an Acer laptop running Linux lubuntu 14.04. Works very well. I had to get rid of Windows 10 because with only a 1GHz dual core processor it was unbearably slow. It is snappy fast.
I tried to run this on an Emachine desktop with a 2.7GHz dual core processor and a Nvidia graphics card but the computer would work in sleep mode. This is a common problem with SSD drives. Also, this SSD drive is a "great" replacement for a 2.5" 5400rpm drive. But a 3.5" 7200rmp drive can keep up with all these "low" end SSD drives by PNY and SanDisk.

PNY Has been stepping up their game in the past few months to compete with samsung and other ssd manufacturers but keeping the price more affordable than the competitors. Got this to replace a SSD that failed gave the computer even more speed and responsiveness. highly recommend PNY in the future.

Makes Fallout 4 run like a dream

When Fallout 4 came out, it ran like trash. My $150 graphics card and my friends twin $400 cards both made it look like a PS1 title. After several patches, it looked much better. AFter installing it on this $35 cutie, it ran like a dream.

This product was just what I needed to get my computer back up and running. It was easy to install and was easy to download my backup files onto. So far this product has been working great. I like how much faster my computer runs with it. It is great.

Very inexpensive solution for making my laptop MUCH faster. The startup and login time alone are a dramatic improvement. It made my new i3 machine as fast as my i5 without an SSD. Great investment!
