    ive never had one pny ssd fail on me. ive installed these on older laptops with Sata II speeds and it works just fine. still fast and makes a good use of older laptops and computers. Why buy new when a solid state drive will give new life to your system that you bought in college back 2008! Still running strong. no need to replace my pc.

    Keep older computers out of the garbage by swapping the old hard drive for this SSD drive. It will put more pep in your older equipment and help extend the battery life since it has zero moving parts. plus its a bit lighter too :) (the speed increase comes from faster read & write times). I use these 120gb drives for people that do not require a lot of storage space.

    I usually go for Samasung when it comes to SSD. I tried this PNY SSD because their USB's are reliable and fast. Can't say its the best, but it gets the job done.

    These SSD's don't have DRAM, but really for an older PC doesn't really matter. Yeah its not as fast as one with DRAM or an NVME but much better than a mechanical one. I use this for small PC's using virtual machines. So if they go bad, I didn't spend that much. So far haven't had any issues with PNY
