I've installed probably hundreds of these and only had 2 fail. One was after a year, the other was DOA but Bestbuy exchanged it for me. 1 John 3:7 Little children, let no one deceive you. This was easy to install. It vastly improved the performance of a 2 year old laptop for which the hard drive had failed.

If you looking to really speed up a computer and don't need much storage this is a great drive for the low cost. I have installed these in many work stations not needing much local storage and the difference is amazing. So far they have been very dependable too.

This SSD worked well and shipped quickly! It made a huge difference in the speed of the laptop I installed it in versus the old mechanical hard drive. I would definitely recommend BestBuy for your next tech purchase!

I installed the SSD on the same day I bought it. It was immediately detected at its claimed capacity and windows installed easily with no issues. I then tested it with some small and large file transfers and it held up as expected. I'm very happy with this drive.

You just can't beat the price, and to have SSD speeds is awesome. i have a internal dock, that I plug in, pull out like a floppy but 2.5 drives and these are great, especially for Linux. Instead of using mutliple VM's I just buy these and load up different flavors and go, Turn power on and Boom, I'm loaded.

I bought this to throw in a cheap older laptop I had laying around, now it's better than it was new. Boots up into Windows in less than 30 seconds, and applications open/close in a snap - as compared to when it used to take about 5 minutes to boot and then lag between applications.

If you have an normal hard drive, for a little over 20 dollars, you can transform your computer now with this solid state drive. I replaced a laptop hard drive with this one because the old hard drive went bad, my 7 year old laptop is better than ever now.

Although the smallest capacity of the SSDs, it has more than enough room on it hold Windows 10 and all your programs. If you also have a lot of data, and no additional storage drive to hold the data on, then this might not be the best choice for you. It's ideal for the OS and the programs, and data for the occasional or light user. I like to pair it with a 1 TB mechanical HDD which is then used only for storage of data.

How many of these have I bought? I'm not sure anymore, because I have been putting these in computers for people and I can't seem to keep them in my hand longer than a couple of days! These drives are the cheapest way BY FAR to get into the super-fast world of SSDs. Highly recommended!.

Bought this SSD to speed up an ancient computer (Pentium Core Duo) for someone in my family and it exceeded all my expectations. Boot time is averaging around less than 15 seconds compared to what was in the stock pc (took over a minute and some change.)

Very good equipment, easy to configure and use. I recommend it. Windows 10 loads so much faster now and I use it for all my programs and havent had any issues because I dont have a lot of demanding programs anyway and using the old hard drive for storage.

GoodHard drive replacement for a computer only to be used for light duty. Meaning internet surfing, emails, word, excel, power point and other small programs. If you ever need more storage later you can always plug in the USB a 64GB - 256GB fkash drive. They make resl small ones now.

These drives are Step one for old machine upgrades. Since all new software and operating systems are now streaming down to run on mobile devices we can enjoy simple upgrades on older computers that make them run better then they did new. This is my first part to the procesa :)

A Solid drive (no pun intended), I used this as an external drive coupled with an external hard drive enclosure for my android shield tv. Still going strong and no issues whatsoever. Great value for an entry level ssd. No regrets here!

Excellent value for a small-capacity SSD, which is perfect to go along with a larger capacity Hard Drive. This drive seems to be very fast, and has breathed new life into my older computer! It has taken it from unusable to normal.

I bought this to replace the hard drive in my laptop. It was easy to install and worked perfectly. Only down side was it did not come with screws, which doesn’t matter when upgrading. So if you are going to add this as an additional drive you need your own screws.
