I got several of these for under $30; used them to refresh a bunch of older PC/computers and install a fresh copy of Windows. They may not be the fastest SSD out there yet they are a super good buy to make an aging machine same almost new - and faster than it was originally.

This is an inexpensive SSD drive. But for someone who does not do much with their computer it does OK

PNY has made a pretty solid budget SSD for a few years now. This is a no-frills package with no cables or mounting help, so make sure you have what you need. Not as fast as some higher-end models but gets the job done - your average user won't really notice the difference anyways.

For the price point at the time it was the Best Buy. And the last few years it’s been better and better.

I bought two of these drives. I boot Ubuntu from an external drive and 120GB is more than enough. It is plenty fast for what I am doing with it. I bought an enclosure for it. The drives were on sale so I bought two of them.

Bought to speed my old laptop made a wondrous difference. It’s not large but it is fast. And if you have a NAS or other storage, for ~$20 this is a great solution. Oh you als get Acronis backup to help you transfer data from your old drive

I was able to easily change out the drive on an old gateway mini laptop. The performance has significantly improved. Almost like having a new laptop. Highly recommend and it’s affordable.

So far this item has worked as expected. The PC is much faster now than the old HDD. It would have been nice if the transfer software was include (Samsung provided this when I bought their SSD). Luckily it was a Samsung laptop and the built in backup software provided with the PC allowed me to swap this SSD without needing to buy additional software from PNY.

I am a longtime PNY user and this has been a great product to use. it has made my device run smoother and faster. This is not top of the line mind you but it works well enough that I can get everything I may want to get done with speed.

If you have a common area computer, or a laptop that everyone uses to watch netflix, check email, and just surf the web, this is the perfect product to use. Giving anywhere from 5-100 times the boot speed, and performance compared to a traditional Hard Drive

You do not need the Samsung drives for great performance. Boot times and application load times are fantastic. I use these PNY drives as frequently as possible. I have some that see daily use over the past 3-4 years. No problems.

I bought these for an external recorder, and i am pleasantly surprised with the speed and quality. It weighs next to nothing, and would be great in an external enclosure for a low cost alternative to the higher priced external drives that are on the market.

Works well, fast and reliable ...only issue is the price...not much storage for a higher price

Have not had issues with these at all. Upgraded all my PCs at home with these. For about $20, these are a cheap upgrade to improve from HDDs. Have only used the software once to clone and worked fine.

This SSD I was able to upgrade a customer's Lenovo laptop that failed with Windows 7. The customer was quite happy with the service and excellent speed from this SSD from a 250 Toshiba mechanical drive Thank you

Swapped this for the hard drive that came in my laptop. Now my 5 year old laptop is faster than when it was brand new. Samsung migration software was simple to use. Just need to make sure that you can access the hard drive and port for your existing laptop.

Using this SSD as a boot drive for my 2015 MacBook Pro. The drive that came with my MacBook broke down so I had to replace it. This SSD is great for my work as I am required to open multiple applications at a rapid pace.

Massive improvement over the clunky old school mechanical hard drive in my laptop. Sped it up by at least 50%. If you haven't replaced your old hard drive with an SSD yet, what are you waiting for.

This drive is great for any starter computer but keep in mind that 120gb goes by very fast. I use these for smaller machines that don't need that much space. They are very quick drives comparative to any standard hard drive.
