This drive is great for any starter computer but keep in mind that 120gb goes by very fast. I use these for smaller machines that don't need that much space. They are very quick drives comparative to any standard hard drive.

I highly recommend this SSD for those who want to cheaply speed up their old computers. It does the job, although not as fast as a Samsung EVO drive, this one still breezes by the old spinning plate hard drives easily.

After over a year, my laptop is still running like new! It is definitely much faster compared to the old spin drive that it replaced. Felt like I bought a new computer but at the fraction of the cost. Worth the upgrade.

My tech guy said it was great so I purchased it and he installed and so far no issues.

Better than an HDD, just not a lot of storage. Be sure you're buying enough to fit everything you currently have on this new drive. If you're doing a fresh computer build maybe think of getting secondary HDD for extended storage. It'll perform up to 4x faster than an HDD, but it only holds about 1/10 of what a standard 1TB HDD will.

Plug and play. Works instantly. I had no issues installing it in. I used it as a booting drive. Just installed windows and good to go. Windows boot up within seconds.

I needed a cheap replacement for a laptop boot drive and this fit the bill. In this case, I wasn't too worried about performance or capacity and just went with the cheapest option available locally at BB.

These are my go to SSD for bringing new life to older computers. 120GB is enough for most people and these things have read and write speeds both in the 500+ range just like the Samsung EVOs. Especially awesome when they go on sale for $24.

Amazing value and speed from this SSD. My laptop was SLOW because of the old school style hard drive that was in it but this SSD completely transformed it! My laptop turns on and is ready to go in seconds. Don't think twice just get one. :)

I have purchased several PNY drives in the past and so far all are still working well. SSD's really improve system performance when compared to conventional platter drives. Hopefully the PNY drives will be reliable and last a long time.

I just needed a small SSD to put the operating system on for my desktop to speed things up (boot time and some of my programs and games that take a long time to load i.e. Mount and Blade: Warband). PNY SSD fits the bill. I hope it lasts a long time.

It works as a ssd should. Not large enough to install on and ark survival on it.

Bought this to use for my music files for my Plex server and it has worked just fine. It's not the fastest ssd out there but is faster than a spindle HDD which is all I needed.

My older Asus would not boot up any more so my friend suggested replacing the drive which worked really well. My 2014 top of the line Asus was reborn with this very inexpensive $25 ssd.

Added to a Lenovo Laptop with a regular HHD, replaced HHD with this Solid State and it has made a worlds difference in performance all around. Great purchase, would recommend - I actually think it does better than my m.2 OCZ and my other pro series.

This was a replacement for my factory harddrive in my laptop that went bad. I was pleasantly surprised how much it sped up my system. Booting into Windows was a lot quicker as well as overall use.

Needed to fix my brother in-laws laptop. This SSD drive fit the bill. It is large enough to satisfy his needs which is mostly internet browsing with some minor document saves. The laptop now runs better than the original spinning drive ever did.
