Installed in an older laptop (5years old) and it has revived it from near death! It was taking 1+ minute to boot up and then another minute for Windows 10 to be functional. Now it's about less than 30 seconds to boot up and 3-4 seconds to be functional.

I bought this little 120GB SSD to use as a place to put all of the TEMP files for Adobe CC 2017. I also went ahead and put the Windows Pagefile on there as well as the temp file locations. Made a world of difference on my already fast SSD-based system.

Recommended by the geek squad that it may help my old laptop still work as new or at least better than it was. After having it installed it was like new. I will buy my next laptop from best buy when this one goes.

My computer was really messing up and I had this installed and now my computer is like new. I was ready to throw my computer up against the wall.. so glad now that I didn't. The Geek Squad did a great job.

This is a fast, dependable SSD, that works right out of the box, great for speeding up a computer with a standard rotating drive, or as a fast backup drive. This is my second drive, used to speed up a desktop pc,You can't go wrong with this product.

Running a second os off this so I can use my gaming desktop to work from home and not have to mix personal and work. Really inexpensive and perfect when you store most of your work in the cloud anyway

This is a good SSD to speed up any system with a mechanical hard drive. The 128 Gigabyte size is a bit small, but with more and more stuff going into the cloud, it is likely you won't need that much space on every computer (as was the case with the one that this went in). If you plan on installing a bunch of applications or having a lot of music/pictures/video, you'll want a bigger size.

I put this in a older Dell Desktop computer, the old drive was a 5400 rpm traditional drive and it was so slow I couldn't stand it anymore. I installed this and it made this computer act like a new machine! So glad I did this.

The title may say for Laptops but don't get fooled, I use this SSD within my gaming PC. I put windows 10 on the SSD and it boots extremely fast, less than 30 seconds. It does it job very well and I am glad I opted for this SSD.

Nice drive, made a big improvement on my wives older laptop. SSD are excellent for laptops as there is not a lot of room to speed them up and it gives better battery life so, win, win!

Purchased this piece on the recommendation of o e of the workers who was very knowledgeable about computers and listened as we explained what we were looking to accomplish. Has been a great piece of my son's custom built desktop gaming pc.

Worked as intended. Great value and price. The wait was slightly longer than most of my purchases from Best Buy, but that is besides the point.

Need one for my laptop for my wife. Does not watnt to spend too much money on it. My wife laptop is 7 years old lenovo. Works great but little slow. This ssd brings a new life on her laptoo

I bought this SSD for an old gaming PC that was being used for live streaming church services just before the start of the pandemic. It's plenty fast and the performance boost was excellent!

Cheap BUT reliable. My second go to choice (WD first). PNY is almost always at the best reliability vs price point. Never had any issues with any of their drives. The quality control at PNY seems to be on point.

For the price, you can't go wrong. It installs super easy, and all drivers and everything were immediately recognized after a fresh install of windows. Would definitely recommend, especially if you can get it on sale.

PNY may be a lesser-known brand among storage giants like Samsung and Sandisk, but that’s not to say this drive is riddled with compromise by any means. It supports SATA 3 read/write speeds which is a plus, and it matches the same 3-year warranty offered by the competition. This drive is certainly an excellent value proposition if you’re trying to breathe new life into a machine with a mechanical hard disk.

I use these frequently to upgrade older computers, performance afterwards is night and day. At around $17 to $20 a drive you can continue to use an older computer for a few more years.

Took my computer from slow and frustrating to quick and pleasant. I think of you have an older 5400 rpm HDD then that is going to be a real bottleneck for your machine. This will definitely make a difference.
