I purchase the PNY 120 GB SSD to upgrade my old one core netbook. For under $20, the netbook runs better and I think I can a 2 more years of use out of it, because my 32 bit linux distro will end in 2021.

Everything works absolutely perfectly period plug it right in and had absolutely no problem at all. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quick and easy solid state purchase.

So I have been putting SSDs in computers for about 5 years, and I started with the CS1311 Series by PNY, and they are considerably superior to this series, I would say they are 150% faster than the CS900 series reviewed here. However, for the money, these have never failed me and have increased the overall speed of many of my own as well as client computers. Great buy!

With the read/write speeds at 515MB/sec and 490MB/sec, this SSD is a huge improvement over a mechanical hard drive. The boot times are great, and loading applications feels snappy, even paired with a modest CPU and RAM amount.

I purchased ten of them. They were a good price and they are stable I am happy with this product. I use them to run mining rigs built by minerdude.

By 2019 there isn't much new to say about a SATA SSD. Got this drive on a great sale and it performs precisely as advertised. No problems a month later, has been a great boot drive for a side project of mine.

I love CS900 SSDs, don't forget to check PNY's website for the SSD firmware updater. This is not a flaw, but normal maintenance to having a problem-free system. LOVE PNY brand lately!

When this SSD goes on sale, it is just ridiculously inexpensive. It allows you to take an old and slow PC and speed it up so much that it becomes usable again. Highly recommend!

I owe two of this ssds and so far I like then. I change my hard drive from my old laptop and now it blazing fast again. The other i use as boot drive on my desktop. So far no issues.

A++++ Loved the drives. Used rhem in my laptops i setup for people. Good ans cheap drive but works great.

Great upgrade to slow HDD for old computer. Boot time for OS went from over 1 minute to less than 20 seconds. All applications open so much faster. Brought life back to my old computer.

Good inexpensive SSD for installing Linux in my computer since the os doesn't require a large hard drive.

I used this to upgrade my old computers hard drive. went from a HHD to SSD, noticed a good 50% difference in speed. Here we are 15 months later & my computer still works. for upgrading your PC, this is good but if your building a new desktop, I would recommend more quality brand (like Samsung).

Good performance for an entry level PC. And, enough space to be used as an OS/software drive. It would definitely require other storage options for a PC that was used for more than the basics.

I bought this because my wife’s 2010 MacBook was running a little slow on MacOS High Sierra. After adding 8 gigs of ram this was the next step and it was 100% worth it. It sped up the MacBook at least 3 times over.

I put this in an old Windows 7 computer, the original SATA Hard Drive was just about dead. I am very pleased with this, the old computer came back to life, and is very fast, even with a lower level processor.

Just needed another SSD for my gaming PC and didn't want to spend a lot of one right now. This guy was $20. Popped right in and worked. Even in a 12 year old system, it flies like it's brand new!

Have used this model SSD numerous times and it's always been reliable. Not my first choice in SSD brands but when on sale it's a great deal.

Bought this to replace an old HDD in a 2010 compaq laptop for a friend. Made such a big difference! Made the laptop feel updated. He will be able to squeeze out a little more lifetime from his laptop and save him some money.
