My grandpa was complaining his computer was slow and didnt want to buy a new one. Got him an SSD and installed a fresh copy of windows and bam a core 2 duo quad was running like new again.

Replaced a spindle drive in a older 2013 laptop, and now its faster then ever.

This is a good starter SSD, exceptional for things like booting Windows 10 from. However It isn't the latest PNY drive architecture (Nand 3D) so it is slower. (255MB/s read and 393 MB/s write Vs over 500MB/s read and almost 700 MB/s write on the new drives) That said, I plan on buying another one of these as a spare drive, unless the PNY CS1311 drive goes on sale (that's the new one btw) I am using the drive for speed booting large gaming files and have seen my load times drop from 32 seconds to under 2 seconds on games over 20gb. Remember that SSD's work best when they are under 90% full, so this 120gb drive gives you 108 usable Gigs before performance degradation.

Got this on sale for $20. Literally for the price of a thumb drive! Used this to run a experiments and tests. Like test newest Linux without using my main SSD.

PNY usually gets a bad rap for their memory for laptops or desktops at least for me in the past but never had an issue with their SSDs.

Loaded Ubuntu Budgie for a test run using a linux alternative. No problems encountered. Best of all, work the first time and continues to work without problems.

Using this as my main boot drive for my pc at the moment. no issues for far after a little over a year so you can say it's reliable!

I purchased this to supplement what was already in my gaming laptop. it seems fast(er) and was very cheap to add a little additional storage.

Bought this to store documents, photos, and videos on my computer to keep it off the M.2 NVMe drive. Good performing drive for the price

Bought this for my gf and had no issues with installing it. Installed windows 10 no problem at all and it has space to fit the important programs on it.

Without getting all technical since I am not worthy. Just taking price alone this was the best you can find without going with a brand that you never heard of.

While this SSD is not very fast compared to others, it provides affordable solid state storage to people care more about price than speed.

Drive is easy to initialize for MacBooks and laptops pc! Very fast can’t beat price and speed it instantly makes older computers fast!

My SSD failed just a few months after I purchased it, leaving both the drive and my data unrecoverable. While it worked, it was very quick and instantly breathed new life into my old laptop. I replaced it with a Sandisk ssd which cost a little more, but has been much more reliable so far. I can’t recommend this product unless it’s on a special promo simply because for just a few dollars more, you can get a larger/more reliable/faster SSD.

works great for what I use it for. I use it in a machine we use at work as a replacement for an even cheaper no name drive that fails often.

The boot-up experience with Windows 10 takes a whopping 5-6 seconds. Upgrading our older gaming system with this drive gave it the much needed oomph to breath new life into it.

SSD is an big change is browsing speed, I am now able to swiftly navigate my hard drive and access my files in a much faster time frame.

This is a great solid state hard drive for the price. I have been using it as my operating system drive since purchasing it with no issues.

I needed a small boot drive for a non-critical machine and did not want to wait on mail order. This drive fit the bill. Almost all SATA SSDs are limited by the port and not the drive itself so the speed is as fast as any other SATA SSD. The case material is a tad cheap but you can't win them all.
