    Needed a means to speed up a relatives computer we help to remotely maintain. Installed this drive and did a clean install of Windows 10 which was the quickest installed I had ever done. Once installed I had the drive use the older hard drive for storage. The computer is quick now and should get a couple more years out of the computer.

    This SSD is a great option for someone on a budget however the unit I received does not respond to checks on the health/ status of the drive which mean it works as normal but gives me a warning that the drive is constantly failing. It works great, has since I put it in however from the second it first connected it has had a red light next to it saying it is dead. "just unresponsive to the request for a status check" that's all. If your machine checks for the status of each drive and you have something nicer in the budget it is worth not having the red light on.
