Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the CS900 120GB Internal SSD SATA's performance, price, and ease of installation. Many appreciate its speed, leading to faster boot times, and find it easy to set up. While some wish for a larger capacity, the positive feedback on performance and affordability outweighs this concern. The compact size is also highlighted as a benefit for certain applications.

This is good to upgrade for older laptops to keep them usable and avoid sending them to be recycled. Nice that it comes with cloning software too.

Used this to replace a laptop HDD to make the laptop functional with windows OS boot speeds and browsing the internet. It shares the market pricing with the Kingston A400. I used the A400 in one laptop and this PNY in another laptop. The laptop containing the PNY had better specs than the A400. The specification on the PNY show that is has better read and write speeds however the A400 laptop would consistently boot faster. Maybe it's the controller in the SSD I really don't know.

Installed as a boot drive for a Linux machine replacing a Windows 10 desktop that the user was tired of fighting with. I wanted to leave the original drive in place so that the data already there could be accessed. The only problem I had was that the BIOS of the computer didn't want to boot from the SSD as long as the old HD was bootable. This is the source of the deducted star. Once the old HD was set to not bootable, the BIOS defaulted to the SSD as the only bootable drive. So on this computer, using the SSD in a dual boot environment is not an option.
