Laptop improvement

It shares the market pricing with the Kingston A400. I used the A400 in one laptop and this PNY in another laptop. The laptop containing the PNY had better specs than the A400. The specification on the PNY show that is has better read and write speeds however the A400 laptop would consistently boot faster. Maybe it's the controller in the SSD I really don't know.

PNY 120GB Drive

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installed as a boot drive for a Linux machine replacing a Windows 10 desktop that the user was tired of fighting with. I wanted to leave the original drive in place so that the data already there could be accessed. The only problem I had was that the BIOS of the computer didn't want to boot from the SSD as long as the old HD was bootable. This is the source of the deducted star. Once the old HD was set to not bootable, the BIOS defaulted to the SSD as the only bootable drive. So on this computer, using the SSD in a dual boot environment is not an option.
