if you want to try an SSD for speeding up your laptop, then this is a good start. Just enough room to load OS and run stuff but, not designed for lots of storage obviously.

This thing was dead in the box. Didn't get working on the pc until after best buy return window was over. Had to RTM with PNY and pay return shipping, half the cost of the SSD. Not a good value; I've had friends say they have had this issue with the brand in the past. The second one sent from PNY did work though. Speed was middling for an SSD, I test these on crystal disk mark; go with the Sandisk instead. These is a cheap upgrade over a mechanical hard drive. But save like $20 more and do better.

Other people seem to have had much better experiences with these but I have bought 3 and all 3 have died within 3 months. One only lasted 4 days and died during a Linux install! Be weary, you get what you paid for and just because my experience , doesnt mean youll have the same results bust just know it can be a gamble as with any other hardware. Is beneficial in bringing an ancient computer back to life, for any laptops with a sata connection or as a boot drive for a desktop

I bought 4 and 2 did not work. The computer and motherboard would not see them. The other 2 work great.

Don't buy the 120GB unless you absolutely need it. These things fail sooner.

It only lasted me a year then it crashed so I can’t recommend this product.

I purchased the drive in end of December and it has failed on me only after few months. I been trying to erase it, repartition it... Nothing helps. Drive is completely unresponsive. It is pretty disappointing to have this happen with SSD drive. I been buying same drives for other systems.

Don’t buy this for your everyday driver Luckily I only bought it for my beater Linux laptop and it died after only 3 months of very light use. So, nothing important was lost. Originally purchased 11/1/19 Replacement purchased 2/10/20 Only because they’re so affordable

As my summary states it didn't last a year. Purchased 31 Jan 2018, failed on 13 Jan 2019. Expected it would at least last through the manufacturers warranty time period. Spend the extra and get a Sandisk or Samsung.

It worked fine for only 2 months. Then one day my computer could not detect it. Tried to format but it was undetectable by Bios. I returned it and bought a Samsung which is running flawlessly since then. Do not buy PNY! See other reviews.

Amazing price for what you're getting. The drive for my CNC driver computer died. This brought it back to life and it's running fast.

I had bought this to use it as a scratch drive for video editing but it didn't work, windows didn't recognize it. I probably just got a bad unit but I don't recommend, just buy intel, samsung or wd.

I bought it in January 2018 and less than 8 months later it has failed. Now going to claim for its warranty and buy a better brand than PNY.

I have had 4-5 PNY SSDs fail in the past month. Something is going on with their quality. I cannot recommend them. Spend a little more and get SanDisk or Samsung SSDs.

This failed after 5 weeks from a laptop that wasn't used that much. Not a good product I would not recommend.

Had to RMA this drive once due to failure. I would be weary of buying one again to use as a main OS install drive. The RMA process was at least fairly painless.

After installing windows, drive lasted 30mins and dell gave me smart error Error Code 2000-0151 - Hard Drive incorrect status 3E Smart Predicitve Failure. I would not recommend to my worse enemy.

Junk. Froze up 2 weeks after the return date expired. Tech guy can't even fix it.
