The SSHD is the only thing you receive in the package. It does not come with any software and the company does not offer any for free download. There customer service was not very nice either. Other than having to purchase a install/clone kit (which comes with the cd & cable you will need) the drive itself is good

Absolutely terrible. Do not buy. Has notoriously known faulty part within which bricks firmware making drive unbootable or recoverable. Mine bricked after 2 months. This has been a known issue for years apparently and they still make, and sell them. Best buy should discontinue this item. I was not given a refund or replacement. Last thing I'll ever buy from best buy.

Failed just shy of two years. First SSD to fail from about 20 of various brands I have bought, this was my first PNY.

I got this product for my laptop so I could use some extra storage but it was not what i needed

I tried this brand first time. Bought it in September 2023 for my Lovonvo laptop to upgrade space. In March 2024, lots of pics got corrupted and I cant access them. I tried to format and delete the drive but was unable to format or delete the data on the drive. I delete /format the drive, but once I restart the laptop everything came back. Watched couple to videos and it says that the drive is dead and is unreliable to be used in the future. My advise: stick to a good brand like Samsung/Seagate. They never disappoint.

I haven't had any issues with the SSD, but there are definitely better ones out there for the same price or cheaper if you do the research.

Arrived in excellent condition. Hooked it up to my PC and it was detected but that’s all that happened. I couldn’t format it or do anything with it, guess it came defective from factory. I even try format from command prompt. Sandisk ssd drives in My opinion is the best. I guess I should’ve gone with the trusty Western Digital over the PNY. I wanted to try a new brand of ssd drive but it didn’t work out for me, I never had any issues with PNY flash drives though. I couldn’t return the PNY ssd drive either cause I threw out the packaging. I had all hopes that it was going to work.

I bought one 500gb and 1000gb, the 500 is better, quick respond

I purchased two of the CS900 1TB drives last year. One is still working, but one started to exhibit major issues. It would not show up in the bios of two different computers I use for gaming. Would also not show up in the OS. Both motherboards it was used on knew something was there, but could not tell what the drive was. This would cause Windows to stall booting up.

Bad SSD i do not recommend anyone buy this or if you are using move or backup your data this SSD failed on me within a year lost years worth of data. I still have a HDD from my first computer almost a decade old that still works flawlessly compared to this cheap trash SSD.

Worst SSD purchase i've ever made. This thing died in less than 6 months. Ive got numerous SSDs still running strong 7+ years later, used in numerous different PC builds in my home. PNY is the only brand ive had an SSD fail from and ive had 2 PNY drives fail on me in the last 8 years of building PCs. Will not be buying anymore PNY products.

Given wrong specs for buying a replacement battery for Laptop. Needed to return the battery to amazon for a second time. Work to replace batttery not performed.

For the price, it was a perfect upgrade to an old HDD, boot time is less than 20s.

A few weeks after installing this drive, it reports SMART status failure. Best Buy sold me garbage and since I didn’t pay $14 more dollars for the privilege of buying their garbage, I’m stuck with it. They have my money. I have e-waste.

Brought as extra storage, but failed in a week. Now the drive keeps disconnecting and failing to save or delete files.
