Replaced a mechanical drive in a four year old Dell laptop as the drive seemed to be very slow over time. The PNY drive was easy to transfer to using a separately purchased USB to SATA cable. Once the drive was configured the installation was simple. The PNY drive is 4-5 times faster for all applications, internet and boot-up. Well worth the money and time, easy to do and requires very little time.

PNY SSD has same fast speeds, quality, and reliability as Cruial, WD, or Samsung SSD at a cheaper price. Highly recommend.

This PNY 1TB internal SSD SATA drive is excellent for having a remote portable drive. The speed is nice compared to the HHD portable drive. I use this drive for storing my sensitive data. I plan on purchasing another PNY 1TB internal SSD drive.

Purchased this drive the replace the older hard drive in my Dell all in one system. Before replacing the drive the system was so slow that it was very frustrating to say the least. I took the system to the Geek Squad and had them transfer all my information from the old drive to this new SSD drive. They completed the work in two days and after reinitiating the programs on the system it now runs very fast with no lag or delay when opening programs. This was one of the best things that I could have done and using the Geek Squad made the transfer almost seamless. As must buy to speed up your slower systems.

Arrives on time, Works great on my Original Fat PlayStation 2! Way faster loading times than on discs, would recommend

Great SSD for price I paid little bit over $100 for 1T. Work good, but only had for few days installed. PNY SSD did not came with cloning software. I also brought Samsung SSD 6mo, it came with really nice free cloning and OS migration software. I guess that is why price different. I did not realize most of free to diwnload HD to SSD software utility (few year back) are now charge anywhere from $30-$60. Some are still free or trial one out there, but several of them mess up window drivers on clone drive, so do you research. After trying paid one and few free/trial software. I finally had no issue with EaseUs Todo Backup Trial version. Wish PNY provide their own software for cloning/OS transfer.

Great SSD. Made the purchase for a PS3 Slim to install CFW, and it works perfectly.

it is Plug and Play, and able to back-up my entire hard drive with room to spare. Works well!!

The 1TB hard drive in my Asus laptop went from "working fine" to "won't boot, refuses to read/copy 10% of the files" in a couple of weeks. Since it needed to be replaced, upgrading to this PNY SSD made sense. It's not a performance SSD, but it's much faster on the reads than the hard drive (near zero latency), and the price was just slightly more than a hard drive replacement.

Perfect fit for my 9 year old HP Envy. Works great with Ubuntu 24.04

I am happy with my purchase of this SSD. It performs well in my laptop and adds the storage space that I need. Now this same size drive is over 2X the price I got it for.
