    I bought it for use as external hard drive and man this thing is fast. I bought a 1tb Pny from Best buy last as a boot drive and love it's speed so bought another 2tb for my file storage. Bestbuy always have great deals on SSD and prebuilded gaming PC. I always buy my techs from Best buy.

    I think I got 2 of these on sale, which amounted to somewhat less than a single 4TB SSD. They work well enough, I put them inside of a Fractal Design Ridge case, which has space for I think 1 or 2 more 2.5in SSDs. These aren't the best SSDs out there, but they're solid (no pun intended).

    Have used these in our NAS. Great speed with the transfers. Upgraded from 2- 2TB hard drives to 4 2TB SSD SATAs. Huge improvement over the normal drives during the downloads and transfers. Would recommend these to anyone wanting to upgrade their spinning drives for better performance.
