I bought this flash drive for myself along with the San Disk I flash for my daughter for Christmas so that we may remove all those photos, videos off our IPhones to have more storage. Between me And my son who is a techie geek, we spent several hours trying to take these off my phone onto my Mac Book Pro. Downloading the app was not the problem. Once we started to transfer, it took a hours, the first time totally failing. We attempted to call PNY support but never got through. After more hours of research, trial and error, it finally transferred some of them over in a HEIC format. So what the heck, I just wanted to open my pics on MacBook and see them easily. So later I took my flash drive to a local photo center, thinking the pics would be on there. NO, only one pic and a couple of videos. So then I spent an hour or more again on the app to say just transfer to the flash drive. That again took quite a while, as I watched it loading each pic. I was excited to see when the app said transfer complete! So I went to another photo store with my flash drive excited to see my pics so that I could make some prints. Well I was steaming as all the pics had not transferred as I was led to believe. I finally decided to take this useless device back to the store. I must say BEST BUY customer service was exceptional about taking it back, even though I told them there were some of my pics on the drive. They said it would be shipped back to PNY and they would erase all the pics. I probably wasted at least 2 days time on this device. So much for lightening fast!!! Ironically, the more simple device from San Disk I flash drive worked as directed!

Although at first this device seems well, you quickly realize that when connected to a PC it doesn’t import correctly usually. I downloaded 4K videos to this and on my PC they looked 480p. However if your phone reads it, it stays the same quality.

It is okay if you don’t have 25K images to off load. LOL! It does time out after a certain amount of time/files. It’s okay, but not what I hoped it would be.

Not very intuitive but does back up the whole phone (without backing up music). Using selection to just copy what you want and not backup works poorly and I had a lot of skipped files.

I was told I could use this to transfer my embroidery designs from my iPad to my Janome MC500E embroidery machine. It did not work. A waste of my money. No one knew what I needed

Nice item however it clearly works as advertised however with certain phone cases you will not be able to plug it in to your Apple device. No problem however with the USB end

The USB never worked from day one. The app is useless on iPhone. This product is a complete waste of money—do not buy it.

I couldn't get this thing to work with my 7S. I can't provide a positive experience.

Product could be good if you know how to use it. It’s too complicated for an amateur. I can’t open the videos even though I got good help with the geek squad.

Love this product- easy file transfer and storage.

It’s well made and does pictures well. Videos does well but you must use the app. And music... just doesn’t really work like I hoped. But for pics. And some video. It’s good

The drive has deliver great services to off load my pictures and other document from my computer to drive for storage purposes.

It wont copy files with different format and when you try to copy bulk photos, if one photo is wrong format it stops copying all of them.

If your looking for a great way to free up phone space you can transfer vids and photos quickly with this. It does what it was intended to do.

Loved it!! Very user friendly and simple to set up and down loaded pics straight from my Apple phone! Super satisfied!!!

I have several iXpand usb drives that are so simple my dad can use it. Plug it in, download the app, open the app and save all your pictures. I went to BB to buy another one because the website said they had them in stock. They didn't; I needed it right away, so I bought this one. Mistake - the drive downloads a different app than the box tells you to download, it doesn't work so you have to delete it and re-load the correct app. There are a lot of steps to go through. I'd stick with the iXpand if you can find it.

I have followed the instructions over and over and I’m still not sure if it works as advertised. I’m actually kind of disappointed.

Just trying it out to see how it works for the time being. I really do not like how google take upon themselves to manage the files and photos.
