The best thing about it is, I don't have to upload my personal files to icloud anymore. Nowadays, all phone companies are forcing people to use their cloud for additional storage, and I hate using cloud storage because I feel my data is not private anymore. Transferring files was super easy and fast.

Won't recognize new iPhone photo files
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Please don't make the mistake I made in buying this PNY drive, which I had hoped to use for transferring iPhone photos. With the release of iOS 11, Apple replaced JPEG files with a new image format called HEIC. The PNY drive doesn't recognize HEIC files and won't copy or move them. I checked with PNY technical support and they aren't when or if they'll every be able to update the app to allow compatibility with HEIC.
