Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had 8 Gigabytes of hi res photo scans (family photos from the 1990s back to the 1930s). It took over 30 mins. to transfer to USB 2.0, less than 10 mins. to 3.0. If you have a system that is 3.0 compatible and speed is important the extra cost is worth every penny.

Good enough for what I needed it for

I got them when they were on sale for a good price. I like that they have an activity light on them so that you can see when they are in operation. There were only two negatives that I found that weren't a big deal to me. The protective guard was hard to slide back, and the end isn't covered to keep the dust out when the protective guard is up.

Great little drive

It's outer body slides to protect the USB connector but I will note that the end of the connector is still left open so dust, crumbs, etc. could still get in there.
