I bought this to save videos of my son that I uploaded from my phone to my computer. I was able to upload all the videos from the last three years (which were in one large folder)onto the flash drive in about 15 minutes! This is a great time saver! And now if seething ever happens to my computer, I can still have all those memories preserved!

It was on sale at the time, the best buy at Best Buy for a 32 GB thumb drive. I have used it on my Dell desktop computer and my Samsung TV. It's worked fine on both. It's reliable. The access speed is fine. No issues so far. Some drives feel better than others, like they would take abuse. This does not have that feeling. It's not one of the ultra-cheapie PNY drives where the USB connector is plastic. I got some of those and they literally fell apart. But something about it makes me only use it for things that I know are backed up elsewhere.

All-in-all it's a great drive. I hit 60mb/s transfer rate to a 7200 rpm HDD and maxed out 230mb/s on my Samsung SSD 128gb. It's just as fast as my other 3.0 usbs just a little bulkier but that is no problem. I play with the cover a little too much and I think I wore out the slider material that keeps it together haha, but great little thing.

I was struggling to transfer files from my old computer to my new one. Until I bought my PNY.32GB. It works way better and faster than any of the other thumb drives I've collected over the years. Maybe it's because technology has improved. Or maybe it's because the new one holds more. Whatever. It's a great gadget at a modest price.

Sometimes you just need portable storage. And 32GB is more than enough space for that little project, presentation, or document that doesn't need to be saved to the cloud. This flash drive does the job.
