Once I learned about FLASHDRIVES, I decided that FLASHDRIVES are my friend: particularly for STORING ALL 30000+ photos. Instead of loading the computer with all of these - and also DOCUMENTS, I transfered all of my photos to a 256gb flashdrive and access the SCREENSAVER from the flashdrive. The above 32gb PNY was used to transfer photos to another person. 3.0USB are really fast (better than2.0 of course). Great product

I needed a thumb drive specifically to transfer photo's and this does the trick. It is very easy to use and has a lot of storage in such a small device. I would recommend this because the price is right and it just plain works like you would expect!

I needed another flash drive to allow me to update firmware on a radio in my truck. Rather than deleting or moving stuff off flash drives I already have, I figured I would buy another 8GB drive. After all, you can always use another flash drive, right? When I got to the rack with the flash drives, I couldn't believe the price! Instead of buying one 8GB, I wound up buying two 64GB flash drives for less than $20. I've been using these to move files to a newly built computer and they work flawlessly. I rated these at 4 stars simply because I'm not sure about the longevity of the plastic sleeve that slides back to allow the drive to be plugged into a USB port. Otherwise, an awesome price for an excellent flash drive!

Needed to make an restore image when upgrading my internal SSD to 2 TB. Guess what you need? Yes. A 32GB USB. Good luck finding them when for general purpose you can easily purchase a 1 TB thumb drive. But 32GB? Usually slow USB 2.0. Not this one. Performed as expected!

The Elite Turbo is a great budget 3.0 flash drive. The drive is on the cheap side with the highest variant reaching 256 gigabytes and $30 buck on sale (retailed at $60 normally). It's a steal at a discount and I am tentative to recommend at retail given it's not the fastest drive out there. I use the least storage variation (32 gigabytes) as a windows 10 bootkey. The cover does not entirely cover the usb port and can be relatively difficult to pull forward/back and you can tell by a prominent click sound. This could be a problem with dust or small particles clogging the drive depending on where you store it.

Over the years, I have tried many different brands of flash drives. One of the most problematic issues was the variation in transfer speed on different machines. A stick would be fairly good on the pc and poor on the laptop. Very frustrating. PNY doesn't have that problem. It usually will have the same transfer rate across all my devices. Additionally, even with a great deal of reading and writing file, none of them has gone down yet. If you want reliable, fast, and easy to use get this drive.
