I figured you can’t really mess up ram however I think this particular unit was just bad. One of the sticks works one doesn’t. I will be returning this weekend

All the specs matched up and according to all the literature, they should have worked. However, once i installed them, my computer would not shut down and wouldnt display anything and wouldnt let me into the bios settings. I tried ove and over and none of it worked. I unpluged the compute and as soon as i plugged it back in it wouldnt turn off. I tool these memory sticks out and installed crucial memory sticks and all is working well.

Thought it was the graphics card, processor and tried to remedy that. Finally, I ran a memtest86 and it showed thousands of errors. So many that it stopped it self before melting down. I tried to return it but they hit me with the 14 day return. What ever happened to 30 days?! All I got back was store credit.

Dead on Arrival.

Other stick game back with 4 different errors from memtest86+ and caused my computer to go into an infinite BSoD loop. To top it off, Best Buy won't refund my money because I'm 1 freaking day outside the return policy. I'll never shop with this company again.

Bad RAM - Failure after less than 2 months of use

Total waste of money, seems like a very low quality product for it to go bad this quickly. Spend your hard earned money on a more reputable brand.

Also the heat sinks are too tall for most of the newer motherboards would not fit under the CPU fan

Product had problems and lasted a month. Best Buy doesn't warranty memory for over 15 days. Now I guess I am out $89 bucks for something that is now is useless.

Dell 5820 not supported
