The sales associate led me to someone from the Geek squad who, instead of directing me to a higher-priced card, told me that this one would fit the bill. He was right, this card popped in quickly and has worked just fine ever since.

You won't be playing AAA titles on ultra settings with it. Pluses: + small + PCiE powered so no cables to deal with Minuses: - fan squeals - only suited for the most basic video operations

Good inexpensive graphics card for Win 10
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went to upgrade my Dell XPS 8500 desktop to Windows 10, but it complained about the AMD Radeon display adapter that came with the machine. Went to AMD's website and found they had stopped supporting my graphics card with Win 8.1. Checked out the Nvidia website, which confirmed this card supported Win 10. Shut down the machine, installed this Nvidia card, fired it back up and Win 10 install went smoothly. No problems. I'm not a gamer and haven't tried running any games, but doubt this card has the power to render complex games.
