Customers are saying
Customers have good things to say about the GeForce GT 610 graphics card's affordability and performance, especially for everyday users. Many appreciate its ease of installation and compatibility with various systems, along with its ability to support multiple monitors. While some noted power consumption, the positive feedback on picture quality and the card's overall value outweighs this concern.

Good Card For The Money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Card is easy to install if you follow the directions on brochure. One problem I encountered was onboard audio on computer was disabled after card was installed but this can be usually fixed by entering the BIOS and changing the audio device drivers detection settings from automatic to enabled which will keep the onboard audio drivers and the card audio device drivers both enabled.

Works Great!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased for a used desktop that will not be a gaming machine. Works very well for output to TV for Windows 10. Love the HDMI port. Cheap and efficient!

Both Win Vista & Linux use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seems everything works plug and play with Windows. Seems everything you have to fight with, with Linux. However, once configured, reboot and Fantastic picture. I'm running this on my Home Theater System. Decided to connect a PC to my Theater Projection system via HDMI. I can watch any of YouTube, not just what they selectively allow through "Blu-ray WiFi's access", as well as other sites. This card (possibly the nVidia driver), requires the TV to be connected to it when you boot up to get 1920 x 1080p resolution, otherwise it first defaults to 1024 x 768. Sound came right up, too. 5.1 surround sound is Fantastic. Note: Due to a "fight" between nVidia and Adobe, you need to turn OFF "hardware acceleration", til they get their acts together, otherwise everyone on YouTube are BLUE. I'll be purchasing 2 more later this month for similar use.

Does what I need.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It delivers some improvements to performance in some uses such as light gaming and video playback, the computer I put this card in had a slower processor so keep in mind any other bottlenecks when upgrading older computers.

Good for the Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased of a basic computer setup. It was good for the price but not as powerful as needed. Ended up taking back for a better one but would be good for basic computing needs.

Great card for graphics
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the 210 but the 610 looks 100% similar but anywho....the graphics and pictures are amazing especially for digital painting in Photoshop, 3D programs, etc. I had one problem that's frustrating. I can't get hdmi audio to play through my plasma tv. That's one of the reasons I got the card for but I think it's just for graphics :( If someone out there who got it it to work comment me.

Not ready for prime time on Linux
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To say this card can be used on Linux would be a drastic overstatement. PNY's web site offers a Linux driver, which doesn't work, along with a legalese caveat about how Linux system drivers might be better for the purpose. In other words, "Works on Linux! But you're not entitled to expect it to work." After you buy the card, you will spend hours googling around trying to find a way to make it work, and you will see dozens of posts on forums from other people who have spent hours trying to make it work. Ultimately, I got it to work. Don't ask me how. Being Linux, I don't mind typing anything into the terminal that somebody on the internet suggests. Ultimately, something ridiculously obscure worked for my Ubuntu 12.04 distro. So that's the score. That said, when it works, it worked, and it's a huge upgrade from my on-board video. However, it's a vastly overpriced low end card. I bought it at the "impatience" price because I needed a video card right now.
