Beast of a card, overpriced.

However, it's probably not as powerful as it should be for the price. They price it this way assuming that you're using the AI features such as frame generation. But ultimately, it really should be a few hundred dollars cheaper, considering the generation it's a part of and the actual performance for dollar compared to previous generations.

Video encorder errors

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Received a faulty card the pcie connector wasn’t cut right and wouldn’t fit into the motherboard PNY’s solution was to either take a file to it myself and risk ruining the card or RMA it but they couldn’t expedite so it was gonna take a month at the least so I just returned it and got a different brand

Bad card sound and frame pace issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I dont know if i just got bad card, but the card has driver sound issues, its suppose to be backwards compatible with 4.0gen this card had issues with sound pace, crackling sound and frame pace is unstable when under heaby load, after trouble shooting for almost a whole week, buying a brand new psu to test in another computer and ending up with same result i have giving up and im returning the card, there are reports of bad 5080 from pny so i didnt want to take a chance, i do not recommend this card

Card is DoA

I'm one day our of return period because I was traveling internationally and didn't have time to test it. Time to go full scorched earth and dispute it with the credit card company. I'll never buy from bestbuy again.

Very unlucky for me

These are impossible to get and I got very unlucky since they cannot exchange it but it’s too expensive to gamble with potential RMA shipping and arguing. I wish I had a way to get a replacement in this process :(
