It doesn't protrude like traditional USB flash drives, so it really minimizes risk of getting hit or caught and causing potential damage to the drive or your machine. The drive is on track for reading/writing speed for a 16 fb drive.

Great size, not intrusive

That is subjective, as performance with major brands is fairly consistent given same specifications. This particular item fit tight making it difficult to remove from the USB port after use. Other PNY perform well in the same port. I will continue to use PNY. just not this particular item.
