The hidden cost of this video card is that it requires an HDMI monitor in order to work. You spend $200.00 and then you are stuck with another $150.00 monitor expense.

The card is OK. I didn't really see a difference after upgrading from a GTX 750ti. I wish I had gotten a 1060 instead.

im sending this item back after less than 10 days all it keeps doing is locking up my computer. nvidia doesnt know how to do anything correct anymore. their drivers are also junk tried 3 diff drivers and same results every time. pc locks up and forces you to do a cold reboot.

Had this 1050ti for a few weeks now and I'm more than satisfied, it's a perfect upgrade without spending a fortune. Every game that I've tried easily runs over 60fps on high settings. This GPU is one of my favorite investments, it really makes gaming more fun. Paired with a decent CPU any game will run high settings without fuss. Though somewhat large, it manages to fit in my tiny little HP case and the fans are very quiet, usually don't even hear them running. (Few examples of games) League of Legends: MEDIUM settings - 300 fps / High settings - 150 fps Rainbow Six Siege: High Settings - 100 fps Doom: High Settings - Seems to be locked at 60 but it does so with ease, never once had any problems running doom. Unfortunately I haven't gotten a chance to try any larger games like Skyrim or Monster Hunter World but I don't have any doubts that this GPU would do just fine with them, at least at medium settings. In case anyone was wondering for comparison - My CPU: i5 8400 @ 2.8 GHz (8th Gen)

I bought this to replace a budget R7 250 AMD card that was a couple years old struggling to give me 25 fps on World of Tanks with med to high settings in 1080p. Immediate improvement with settings all to MAXIMUM in 82-90 fps range. Also dramatic improvement in visual quality.. details, texture, lighting, etc are stunning. Runs cool and quiet. Definitely recommended I got this on sale for a ridiculous deal post-Thanksgiving weekend. Runs my older games COD etc. crazy good too.

I just bought a PNY GTX 1050 ti this past Saturday and put it in my old Dell T1500. The PC is an i7 with 10GB RAM. I've been playing Gears of War 4 on the Ultra setting and have no issues whatsoever. I do get some fan noise but considering there are 4 fans running (1 on the board, 1 on the power supply and 2 on the card) I can deal with it. Plus since I'm using Gamestream I'm not in that room anyway! Handles it with ease! So now my old PC has new life. Looking forward to playing other high end PC games! I'd recommend this if it falls within your budget.
