Excellent card
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to replace an older card. I tried a couple of other cards first but the recent sale on this one sealed the deal. This plays every game I have tried at 1080p at reasonable settings. HD video is no problem for this card looks fantastic. Runs reasonably cool for an overclocked card. Very impressed.

Good entry level or upgrade for older computer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Put this into an older Acer Aspire AM5630 with a Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 ghz with 4 GB DDR2 RAM. Caution this is about a 3/4 length card. I had to move some hard drives to different cages and reroute SATA cables. Uses a 6 pin power connector and includes molex converter. Much quieter than the GT 430 1 GB it replaced that could only get 10 frames per second on low settings Able to play World of Tanks on high settings 1920X1080 at 30+ FPS. Frame rate is bound by the CPU and slow memory subsystem and PCIE 1 specs. In an i5 or more powerful system with DDR3 or DDR4 and PCIE version 2 or 3 it should do even better. Good for a business user that does light gaming. Cut GPU assisted render times in Blender 2.78b for my test render from 7:45 minutes per frame to 1:34 minutes per frame at HDTV 1080p resolutions. Good enough for student level 3D work. Will do 2D CAD very smoothly. Fast redraws. This is faster than a Quadro K2200 Similar specs to the Quadro M2000 but a generation newer GPU design and not $400+.

Cheap cooling fan
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the fans arrived with bad bearings and emits a loud grinding noise with a warbling hum. Seems like a great card otherwise.

Nvidia issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Inconsistent flicker - cannot get rid of, except by a reboot. Loses signal to 2nd monitor. Numerous issues with this card. I would not buy again, despite it being a Nvidia chipset...Should have returned within the time frame - you can do better
