I wanted to add memory to my HP Pavillion Media Center PC since I had just upgraded from Windows Vista 32 bit to Windows 7 64 bit (my computer originally came with 3072 MB of memory - 2 sticks of 1 GB and 2 sticks of 512 MB). After checking out prices on Newegg / TigerDirect and Amazon , imagine my surprise to find this deal on BestBuy.com ! This is the BEST (pun intended) price you will find. My local store was even surprised to see on-line price because they sell it for 79.99. I was able to get 2 of these ( 4 GB ) for under $100.00. I swapped out the two sticks of 512 MB on my computer with the two sticks of 2 GB and now have my computer humming with 6 GB of memory. I plan on getting 2 more of these ASAP so I can have 8GB (which is the most my motherboard will take)You will be TOTALLY pleased with the Price and Performance of this Easy to Install Memory Upgrade for Desktop Computer.

The packaging was somewhat confusing, my "geek" got it wrong. I had to do a return and did my own shopping.

Returned bad dimm memory and replacement did not work.

Installed memory to upgrade system. Worked for a few days without issue, but made it just long enough to pass the warranty period before giving me system crashes. Waste of time AND money!

Took a long time to ship to mu store and cannot get a replacement. Sorry for the candid remarks.

This RAM stick is by far the best for the price. I've been looking for more RAM for a while now and most places I've looked want almost $100 dollars for 2GB. This stick was only about 70 dollars. I installed it and immediately noticed an improvement. My boot time dropped by about 15 seconds. I am now able to run many application at once without so much as a stutter. The aluminum around the stick is also a nice feature to help dissipate the heat and help it to run more efficiently. Overall great product.

I bought this as a replacement, after buying some "Memory Master" memory. PNY has certainly established its self as a quality product maker and well known name, and rightfully so. It was easy to install, and after purchasing two of these sticks, I was happy to find that I could combine two of my older memory sticks, so I was able to upgrade my computer's memory to 6GB. Best buy shipped these very fast, I received them from Ohio in about 2 to 3 days. As always, make sure you are/plan on using a 64 bit operating system before you try to install anything more than ~4GB of memory. Anything past that and you'll just be wasting your money.

I have a single processor computer which is about 3 yrs old now. It use to have a 1GB memory it was getting a little slow so I decided to upgrade the memory and I bought this product and it works great, very easy to install no problem at all. I highly recommend this product.

My PC is 5 years old and has Windows Vista, but I took a chance and purchased this memory because the store attendant said it "should" work. I know nothing about RAM or MHZ or 32/64 bit. I knew my PC said 32 bit so I picked this one. I had a little trouble getting the board to slide in and snap back closed. I was beginning to think I made a mistake, but then it finally clicked into place after a few minutes. My PC runs great now!!! I am buying more GB's soon!

PNY 2-G memory increase speed by 2X or more. Have Compaq laptop with 2 g memory added 2 g PNY to make 4. Easy to install, works perfect. PNY is a little on the high side compared with value memory but trust the brand more.I would recommend it.

This ram speeded up my computer to a usable state. Glad i purchased this

My house computer is a bit older and by now it started to be slow and I just did not like that so I went online to find out if there was anything I can do to fix it instead of just getting rid of it, so I added this memory and I am keeping my computer for a few more years. and PNY makes good products and after some research I found the one. I'm happy.

Got 2 of these and was able to triple my old computer's memory, and it works as fast as my newer machine

Replaced a faulty ram stick from my Dell and decided to upgrade my the 2gb to 4gb...works so so well!

My store still rung it up at 80 bucks. The rack even said 49.99, so, that's what I got it for. I am using it in my Recording studio computer with a quad core processor and 3.5 TB of storage. This machine also seconds as my server for movies, music, pics, software ... I stream to my living room via a WD HD Live Plus, which I bought from BB several months back. This upgrade gives me a total of 6GB of ram. Up from 3 and on my way to 8. Already, the system speeds and does my full on recording studio sessions 14 tracks (wav files) at once with ease. This ram runs smooth and is fully compatible with my budget 1GB sticks. Awesome buy. For $80 ram at $50, buy it now. Buy as much as you need. Once DDR3 is the only standard being used, the prices on DDR2 will go up.

Incredibly easy to install, increases performance tremendously, restores PCs performance to original speeds or better.

Happened to catch this memory on sale. Replaced an existing 2gb chip and it must have been better timings as system was running memory at 333 MHz but now at 400 MHz as should be. be aware any computer built in last 4 years does not use this memory but DDR3 (or DDR4 in some very new systems)

Runs perfect, fits great, cheap with a heat spreader. I just built a new pc and picked up some of these for my wow PC, and it's running very smoothly. I recommend for a cheap build.
