My father-in-law has a 4 year old Compaq that needed more memory. This was exactly what he needed. It was easy to install into the available slot and the computer was faster right away.

Since purchasing the memory fory desktop, I must say that have and still are functioning quite well within my system. They have been able to handle all tasks that were thrown at them like a champ. I would not hesitate to purchase more in the future if needed.

I love this product! I went to best buy and found the specific type of memory I needed and found this. The sales associates were very helpful and I couldn't ask for a better product or experience. The memory was of great price, and extremely easy to install. Comes in anti-static packaging which protects the memory from electric corruption in transit. Snapped it right into the slot, and immediately upon powering up desktop noticed a HUGE increase in performance.

Memory is memory, but do keep in mind what the memory is going to be used for. This memory is great for a standard everyday use system. PNY memory has never failed me to date. I would not hesitate to get this brand of memory for any of my machines.

Great product! The work I do forces me to have several applications open at one time, going back and forth as well as web pages. The speed has definitely increased and am now much more efficient in daily tasks. Great product from Best Buy!

I have puchased several of these RAM sticks and have been satisfied with every single one! Some were purchased 2-3 years ago and still work great (as they should!). When looking for a cheap way to upgrade an old ddr 2 system these work great.

I bought this product for a friends computer and she tells me over and over again how much better her computer is running. The computer does no freeze up and it runs programs much smoother. I will be buying more in the future.

I needed additional memory for my desktop, which can be hard to find in stores lately. I was happy my local Best Buy had availability. It was very easy to install and upgrade my system since PNY Memory is compatible with 800, 667 and 533 MHz. I noticed a difference in my PC right away and would purchase this brand again. The entire experience was easy from beginning to end.

Nothing remarkable, good choice for your older system. Reasonably priced, easy install (make sure you are grounded with a anti-static wrist strap or in constant contact with metal chassis).

This type of memory works best with older computers that don't need fast memory. This is a reliable and easy to install product.

the product worked like it was supposed to no problems installing it . easy to do and fast i didnt have to do anything but plug it into the memory slot and i was done.

Could not believe the difference in speed of my computer once i installed the ram. I knew it would get faster, but not as fast as it is now. Gotta Love it....
