The PNY memory is just what I was looking for to boast my PC performance. I have used many brands of memory and I must say that PNY brand is the best and most trusted.

I needed a couple more gigs of RAM for my desktop and this module did the job. I've own it for almost half a year now and it hasn't given me any problems. So far so good!

I got this DDR2 RAM a year ago for $51 dollars, It's not as fast as the older DDR2 1GB Kingston but it's better than 2GB's... Also it came with a free movie of your pick.

It's good RAM, what more can you ask for? Was running Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit with 4GB. Up to 6GB now and very satisfied. Will buy more when on sale again.

After playing Diablo III I started experiencing the BSOD (blue screen of death) so I ran a diagnostic check and failed the memory (ram) test the feeling was so depressing. After removing the bad stick I then tried to play my games but I started to look like a slide show noob, I needed to upgrade my Ram and fast. So I went to Best Buy and bought two 2GB memory sticks since I had room to upgrade my Ram. Installing the Ram sticks was really easy no special skill or software needed just, "Plug And Play"...Its been over a year now and I've never had a problem since.

THESE MEMORY CHIPS WERE ON SALE WHICH MADE THE PURCHASE THAT MUCH EASIER. I HAVE BEEN USING THIS BRAND OF MEMORY FOR YEARS AND THEY ARE WORTH THE $$.

The ram worked when I installed it and my computer has been running faster since then. Exactly what i had hoped for

PNY is not the usual route I take for memory but if you need something in a pinch and these are the specs you're looking for, it does the trick. Pretty good.

Awesome price for a quick upgrade of speed boost for an old PC.

I took advantage of the sale price over a month ago and bought 2 of these chips. After installing I went from 6gb to 8gb with a nice performance boost on my system. Today I literally watched one of the RAM chips go bad when I decided to reboot my system. Upon restart the system simply wouldn't get past the BIOS message telling me to check my boot media, etc. After 2 hours of a process of elimination I was able to boot into Windows by removing the bad chip,... reinstalling the chip caused the same problem - no boot - remove chip again, Windows boots. Changing the slots my 4 chips are in reveals that it's not the slot that the bad chip came from, but the chip itself. The other chip is still working, so I have 6gb out of 8gb to get me by until I figure out if an exchange is possible. Something tells me the other one is due to go out, too. It doesn't make sense, but I'm starting to wonder if the sale price is for a reason.

RAM upgrades are the cheapest and most convenient way to upgrade a computers overall speed.

The computer is older and needed more ram. This was a good solution.

This memory works as expected, just cost quite a bit considering the price of newer memory.

Bought two of these 2G PNY DDR2 Ram cards at my local Best Buy to up my CP ram. Installed ok but computer failed to boot after install - get slow beep of death. Removed new ram, computer worked fine again. Tried in different CP, caused same problem. I've worked in electronics field for over 20 years - know how to install components properly (i.e. ESD safe). Turns out one card is DD2 not DDR2. Web search says this is a refurbished card that Best Buy sells as new DDR2. Brought back to store, explained my problem. Store would not refund my $ and wouldn't exchange ram since packages were opened. So I've lost over $80 and Best Buy has lost a customer.

I bought this chip today, it is the exact same thing as my old chip only it has 1gb more RAM. when i put it in my computer it wouldn't recognize it and was restarting every 30 seconds so i had to put my old chip back in. I think this chip was defective.
