Great addition to the macbook

It has been much faster and less loading time. Well worth the cost. AND if you have geeksquad coverage they will install for free!!

Might not be backwards compatible with older lapto

The label indicated its backward compatible with slower RAM speed. It did not work and i ended returning it to the store. The laptop is around 6 yrs though.

I returned after the first card was defective bestbuy replaced no problem. This card seems to do the job no problems great upgrade for my laptop!

Much needed

The 2Gb of memory it had were being used to the max. It took about 5 minutes to install, most of that time was removing 1 screw. It booted up with no problem and extended the life of the netbook by maybe a year.

I have background programs running all day long also. Went from 6GB to 8 hoping for an improvement. Don't see a difference...but what the heck more memory can't hurt

Geek Squad installed it immediately for me at no cost thanks to the Geek Squad protection I purchased with the computer. Added bonus and a great product and service!

Problematic

I'm not sure if it's the computer or not. However after checking several forums and trouble shooting it still no luck.

SODIMM Memory

Bought two sticks to replace other RAM. No problems since. Make sure the RAM that you already have is the same specs as this one according to speed, CAS Latency, etc.

Made system a little faster

I first had doubts that it would work better. But it did improve. My geek did the installation, which saved me the time.
