Great laptop upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pulled out my 4gb RAM stick in Lenovo Ideapad S145 and replaced it with this PNY 8gb stick. It works flawlessly, and doubling the RAM in the laptop is a huge upgrade in computing power. Multitasking is easier, and it actually went from being extremely choppy in WoW with 4gb, to smooth and playable (albeit low res) with 8gb.

Major upgrade for older laptops

Removed the old dimm and installed this one. Made sure bios could see it and now she's not complaining about doing her online classes. Well not as much. Anyhow ready to replace and a great performance boost.

Would recommend for basic use.

A couple of tips - it's recommended to not mix one of these with a other brand/type of RSM, and your computer might need a restart or two before it recognizes the RAM for the first time. I
