Quick upgrade to my laptop

This was a cost effective way to upgrade that to 12 gigs. The hardest part of using this product was getting the notebook open to insert the module. Due to its small size, my computer doesn't open on the bottom like a full size laptop but rather required removing the keyboard from above. Once in there was no other work required except to boot up the computer.

I recommend the upgrade for any computer just to be able to multitask more, game harder, etc!

Works in a HP Thin Client t630

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought two of these memory modules to upgrade the memory from 4 GB to 16 GB on a HP Thin Client t630, which I converted for use as a dedicated W10 Pro 64 bit platform. The thin client was designed for W10 IoT or W7 Embedded 32 bit. The memory worked just fine. I am also pleased to report that the t630 works fine on W10 Pro with 16 GB of memory and I changed the shared video graphics memory setting in the BIOS from the default 512 MB to 1 GB.

Good memory

I actually bought 2 sticks of this memory as the laptop had 2 memory slots. memory is fast enough for a low to medium end laptop. Couple this with an SSD and your laptop will feel much more responsive. I installed this memory myself as I know my way around computers and laptops but if you are unsure how to install it have Geek Squad help. It will definitely breath new life into any laptop built in the last few years.
