I just don't understand a gaming laptop with only 8GB of RAM in this day and age. I know that the GPU cards carry a lot of the load but I guess I'm still stuck back in the day of when your games ran off of the primary RAM and think that's still important. Fortunately, it was an easy fix with this PNY memory. Popped the back of my laptop off (unfortunately, the new model got rid of the easy access cover for the RAM and SSD), dropped this module into the slot and away we went. Recognized immediately and this gaming laptop is really quite a beast now. Great upgrade and easy to do.

used this to upgrade my 2015 i5 mini PC and the performance improvement was noticeable. easy to install

Bought a basic laptop/notebook that came with 4 gigs of ram. This was a cost effective way to upgrade that to 12 gigs. The hardest part of using this product was getting the notebook open to insert the module. Due to its small size, my computer doesn't open on the bottom like a full size laptop but rather required removing the keyboard from above. Once in there was no other work required except to boot up the computer.

Very good ram, i bought it to upgrade from 8 to 16 and it made a big difference. I recommend the upgrade for any computer just to be able to multitask more, game harder, etc!

I've had three system crashes with this added on to my rig, but that is because I'm running a different speed of ram at the same time as thing. my other ram is 2.6 and I added this to my system it being 2.4 now my main rig is rated at 2.4, it works fine and easy to plug in other than the "USER ERROR I DID" this thing is good for the price! I'm happy having multiple applications on screen, I can now watch youtube and game at the same time (my original was 8gb and I added this bringing it to 16Gb two different speeds but it's working together okay on my ROGStrix Laptop)

I bought two of these memory modules to upgrade the memory from 4 GB to 16 GB on a HP Thin Client t630, which I converted for use as a dedicated W10 Pro 64 bit platform. The thin client was designed for W10 IoT or W7 Embedded 32 bit. The memory worked just fine. I am also pleased to report that the t630 works fine on W10 Pro with 16 GB of memory and I changed the shared video graphics memory setting in the BIOS from the default 512 MB to 1 GB.

My laptop is wayyy faster than before. Running smoother as well. This is a must buy for a simple upgrade.
