This product works well, especially considering the price. Though I will say that if you want more out of it, you will need to spend an additional $30. It charges, and you will get at least one full iPhone battery re-charge out of it, but don't expect more. I also expect that amount to taper as it is used 3-5 times weekly.

We bought two of these, two different colors, on the same day. One we have no problem with. The other one has some issues. The second time we charged and then used the unit, the charge indicator lights quit working. It's supposed to blink in sequence when charging, and when unplugged, you can press a button to show the amount of charge (by 1-2-3 lights) left in the unit. No lights are working on the unit, however, it does still charge, and does provide power to the iPhone we use it for. So we just remember if it's been used since the last charge. As far as the amount of power it provides, it will charge an iPhone from 20% to over 50% in less than 30 minutes and then slowly go up some more, if you leave it alone. If you use the phone while the unit is charging, it transfers very little power to the phone battery, but it does power the function of the phone, which works for us.

Found this at the checkout line for under $5. Extends my Iphone time between charge so i can go all day. Fits easily in pocket.

This is very light weight and takes up little space in your purse. I like the way you can check the charge with the lights.

I was told by someone that these rechargeable batteries didn't work well. On a recent trip where I was using my phone to listen to audio guides the phone battery was getting low so I hooked it up to this battery charger and it charged the phone quickly while I used it! Worth the $10 or so I paid for it.
