Is a good back up battery for that price I will recomended

This winter, I bought a PowerPack for my husband, myself and 7 relatives. I'd thought about the convenience of keeping it in my purse, but the added bonus was when our electricity went out. The charger comes already fulled charged and able to charge up my phone twice before it needs recharging. Knowing we had the chargers gave added peace of mind that we wouldn't be stranded with no way to communicate if the electricity stayed off for a long time.

This product works well, especially considering the price. Though I will say that if you want more out of it, you will need to spend an additional $30. It charges, and you will get at least one full iPhone battery re-charge out of it, but don't expect more. I also expect that amount to taper as it is used 3-5 times weekly.

I like this charger because it came charged and I could use it right away. Also, it almost gives my phone a full charge. However, it needs to be charged after each time it is used. I do like the indicator on the back to let me know if it needs charging and the patterns and colors are cute. I also like the USB/phone charging cord that came with it. It would be great if it was longer. For less than $20, this was a great buy and I use it all the time.

We bought two of these, two different colors, on the same day. One we have no problem with. The other one has some issues. The second time we charged and then used the unit, the charge indicator lights quit working. It's supposed to blink in sequence when charging, and when unplugged, you can press a button to show the amount of charge (by 1-2-3 lights) left in the unit. No lights are working on the unit, however, it does still charge, and does provide power to the iPhone we use it for. So we just remember if it's been used since the last charge. As far as the amount of power it provides, it will charge an iPhone from 20% to over 50% in less than 30 minutes and then slowly go up some more, if you leave it alone. If you use the phone while the unit is charging, it transfers very little power to the phone battery, but it does power the function of the phone, which works for us.

It's okay for 5.00 that I paid for it!! It charges my phone up. It overheated once. Other than that, no problems, works fine. It was a Christmas gift to myself and for the low price, I brought 5 of them for gifts for family. Definately worth the price!!!
