Just wanted to explain my memory in my Note 10 Works great.

Overpriced to begin with but comparable with other products.

Not a 5 star because shipping was handled poorly. Not able to track.

I bought this card in April of 2019 and it worked perfectly for nearly a year. Suddenly, all of the data is corrupt. So I reformatted it and redownloaded all of my Switch games (which takes an entire day). Same issue. I'm not sure why it has stopped working with the Switch, but save yourself some time and heartache and get one branded for Switch. PNY wants me to send them my card to look at it before they will replace it. I also have no guarantee that a replacement card will even work. Very frustrating.

Was looking for a card for extra storage but was not happy with the speed and the first one I got was faulty had to bring it back for replacement

Worked for a couple months and I tried to send it back to pny and still going back and forth sending emails was used in my Nintendo Switch the day I got it and never took it out. One day it would not show up as being in my Switch tried everything and it won’t show up for anything I put it in so I replaced it with a SanDisk

Started great. One month in, said data corrupted. I reformatted and tried to re-download my games, but all files I download corrupt. Go for a higher end brand and save yourself the hassle.

I usually avoid PNY but had no choice as this was the only 512gb Microsd card that Bestbuy had in stock. I gave it a shot anyways. Less than halfway through my file transfer, it dies. Completely unreadable. Windows doesn't recognize it, Linux wont mount it, chkdsk wont open the volume, and diskpart shows its there but wont let me access or clean it. I do data recovery as part of my job and any data on this would have been a total loss had it been my only copy. Avoid at all costs, I would have had better luck with a counterfeit.

It performed well initially. I purchased it primarily for my Switch (3/10/2020). Over the course of the past few days, it has been slower to handle loads, seemingly. Turned on my Switch last night (5/11/2020), after 5 mins of Splatoon, the system just crapped out on me and gave me an sd card error message. I couldn't reformat the card either through PC or the Switch itself.

Bought this for my dash cam. All the specs match what that camera manufacture say should comply, but I am told this card is fake even after letting the camera format the card. The card works in my computer, but wow is it SLOWww!

I bought this and within 1 week of being in my Nintendo Switch, the card went corrupt. I returned for another one and the same thing happened. Returned and traded for a different brand. Have never had issue in the past so maybe it is a compatibility issue.

Ok so it appears that this thing cant handle holding more than 240gb of storage without going corrupt. Ive tried it on both FAT32 and standard EXFAT This thing gets glitchy and luggish on the switch. For big games like the witcher or skyrim. That being said i did full formats, 2-3 hours of formatting wasted on each. My pro advice would be not to buy this. Go with another Better known company vs this one. I thought id give it a try and that ppl who already left a bad review may of had a bad egg But it appears the batches are all bad in the makers oven

I bought the PNY 512 GB today at the time of writing this, the first thing I did was open the package and insert it into my switch. I then proceeded to format it and start installing my games.. Within a few hours of use, the SD card had become corrupt and unusable.. Planning to go back and ask for a refund, or an exchange, was hoping it would be good, but I have become unable to recover the SD card at all, upon trying every remedy there is. Changing disk letter, attempting to format, using chkdsk in windows and going in depth over all.. Some may have a good experience but I can't even use the $100 micro sd card I had just bought..

I returned this memory card within the week because it stopped working within 2 hours. It's extremely cheap (real reason why I bought it in the first place) but I was glad it corrupted before I moved any content over to the card. I would have lost all my pictures and content, especially since I never backup stuff from my phone's memory card.
