Sticks - difficult to get started, and to retract

Don't Bother

Wanted 3.0 drives and have used PNY 3.0 drives in the past. When plugged into my 3.0 USB hub it freezes my mouse. Works on the 2.0 hub. Probably the last time I will buy PNY.

How can a 3.0 USB Flash be slower than a 2.0?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I could believe the speedtest that I got from Chkflsh but it came in three times at Write 7.78 MB/s and Read 31.88 MB/s. Maybe this is why Bestbuy had them on sale. Avoid this drive if you want performace.

Does not format

After pluging the one formated in IOS X in the Windows 10 computer, it became unusable. Does not recognize, does not format. Contacted PNY product support - never replied. Tried to use a formatting tool available online, and it doesn't recognize the flash drive. If one consider 50% of it worked, I'd prefer paying half the price.

Not a very good fit

Bad product

The speed is extremely slow and it malfunctions with just about every use. I do not recommend. The other 128gb pny drive with the more squared off look has worked well and is far better than this usb drive.

poor transfer rates
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.write speed is 9 mb/s. a true usb3 drive should read at 80-90 mb/s and write at about 40-50 mb/s. this flash drive write as slow or slower than a usb2 flash drive. terrible!!! I have a supersonic xpress usb3 drive from patriot that maintains a write speed of 80-90 mb/s, which is TEN TIME BETTER THAN THIS PNY DRIVE!
