I had family visiting and we were exchanging pictures and videos and I needed something they could take with them so I purchased 3 of these PNY 16GB USB 3.0 flash drives. I am giving them 3 stars because they are 16GB of storage. However, burst write speeds were only just a little better than USB 2 specifications and sustained write speeds were no better than USB 2. Also, the drives got very warm, approaching hot, when writing more than 4GB at a time. This was the case for all 3 drives. If you are looking for inexpensive portable storage, these will work. Look elsewhere for USB 3 speeds.

Needed a drive to create a bootable Windows 10 drive for use with Bootcamp. This drive fulfilled that need. Overall, good drive.

I have used PNY flash drives for many years. I find them to be reliable and inexpensive, and this one continues that tradition. My only complaint on this one is the hole for attaching a lanyard or key ring is too small to accommodate any reasonable size clip.

I purchased this because my 250 MB drive was too small for the files I had for a class. This drive has worked great so far. I have no negative comments at this time.

The USB is really fast, it is not big like SanDisk and the quality looks OK.

This USB drive works great with my laptop. I'm only able to use it in usb 2.0 mode, since that's what my computer supports. It's nice to know that I'll get a speed boost when I decide to upgrade my laptop to one with a 3.0 port.
