Well . . . It barely has similarities to the original. And that is great in this case. This is a good stand alone movie. Acting is OK But the action is insane. (literally)

As big of an of the original movie I didn't even want to this movie. Happy to say I saw it and really enjoyed it. Modern remake of a classic movie. Great action and high pace movie.

Certainly unnecessary and definitely not as enjoyable as the original, but at least the 4K looks nice. Action junkies might want to take a look at this.

This takes the original Point Break to a whole new level. I was impressed with the stunt work. If you are an adrenaline junky, this will fulfill your itch during this rainy days.

Not as good of a plot at the original, but the special effects and stunts are incredible so worth watching just for that. Plus the sound is well done if you have surround sound.

This movie is a decent re-boot of the original Point Break. Definitely a higher "wow factor". Bought this on sale. I love having the disks as well as the ultraviolet copy.

This is the best tv i've ever owned and would recommend it to anyone looking to purchase a tv for their home or business. The picture quality is exceptional and i love it !!!

It was a remake, so I wasn't expecting much to begin with. It is a hollywood fluff type of movie, but it was definitely fun to watch and I liked the ecological undertones.

this movie was good and the plot was not so bad. there could have been better scenes but overall i am glad i bought. i really like the message the movie is trying to send.

Awesome Action and Adventure Movie! An undercover cop makes his way into a scene of bank-robbing extreme-sports atheletes in this remake of Kathryn Bigelow's Point Break.

I liked the original. Who didn't? This one is better and more interesting then the first story wise. The real stunts filmed with real stunt actors made a big difference.

I thought it was interesting the way they remade the original premise to make it more timely. Lots of action, extreme sports shots, and no down time. Lots of fun!

It was a good story there was no need to call it point break it had nothing to do with the original besides using the same names but overall the movie was good

Lots of extreme action. I was a big fan of the original. Was expecting a clone. But was surprised. Surfing and snowboarding scenes in 3d were awesome!

If you are an adrenaline junkie, this movie will appeal to you! Its a fun action packed excuse to show case a bunch of crazy ways to get that adrenaline rush!

I currently own about 50 4K Blu-rays and when it comes to HDR this is perhaps my favorite (at least up there near the top of the list). Whether the opening scene dirt biking in Utah, the various ocean scenes, climbing the face of Angel Falls in Venezuela, snowboarding scenes, or many others this movies visuals, colors are top rate. This story compared to the earlier movie of the same name (having watch both several times) is different but still powerful.

I liked the 4k version of this classic movie. I thought it was just as good as the original with it's own takes and twists that help it stand on it's own.

Visually AMAZING!! Watching this movie in 3D enhances the action scenes. Watching the glide suit scene I felt as if I was actually there.

If you are a true fan of the original, then I am sure you will NOT care for this remake. The acting is subpar and the plot (although cool) is not executed well. The Johnny Utah of this movie is cooler than Keanu's, however the Bhodi pales in comaprison to Patrick's. The heists and action scenes are awesome and the best part about the film. However, I was not able to connect to or care for any of the support characters. I would recommend this for the action only.

Get this one in 3D if you have the ability to view in that format. The extra depth gives an immersive experience that rocks you out of your seat.
