The quality of the picture is not good. But if you feel nostalgic about “old days” this camera will bring your memories back.

Hi there, we're sorry to hear that you're unhappy with the film price. Instant film is a very complex product to make. For some perspective, in 1981 a pack of SX-70 film cost about $7.50. If you adjusted that for inflation, it would cost over $21.00 for that same pack in today's dollar. We have that price beat, with i-Type film priced at $15.99 per pack. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service team and we'd be happy to help.

This camera is easy to use. It charges easily via USB and is ready to go in a snap. The film loads easily. When I got it, I thought pictures would be more clear and the color would be better than what I remember from years ago when this camera first came out. I was disappointed. It seems that Polaroid simply brought back the camera of the past without the batteries needed and with auto focus. If you're looking for the physical retro style camera but with some of today's technology in it, this item isn't for you.

I always wanted a Polaroid camera growing up and I'm so happy I finally got this one. It is so quick to catch those special moments. I use it to snap photos of my toddler and newborn for our photo album. I have no complaints. Flash, battery life, quality of photos, just everything is perfect. The only downside I can think of is the film is pretty pricey. It's still worth every penny though.

Price of this camera is kinda pricey but worth it for the brand... then once you want to start taking photos the film is very expensive.. but worth it again. The camera doesn’t focus too well.. I have to often hold the camera for almost 60 secs before each shot to get it as clear as it can be

    Unbeatable Nostalgia, at a Price

The camera in your average cell phone may turn out 4K HD images at the touch of a button, but there's nothing quite like snapping a Polaroid. Having to frame an image manually, press a physical shutter button and wait for 15 long minutes to see the fruits of your labor is quite the experience. There's no doubt the prints this camera produces are a far cry from the images of the leading smart phones, but that's kind of the point. You have to be intentional with your use of a Polaroid camera, as you only have one chance to get the shot, and a limited number of exposures per film cartridge. Here's where the nostalgia starts to wear off and the reality sets in: Polaroid film is not cheap and, while the format lends itself to snapping fun, impromptu shots, the price is a barrier to frequent use. Image quality also varies widely, even with shots in similar lighting circumstances. The best shots are at a medium range, even with the auto-focus capabilities of this lens. The timer and double exposure options are fun additions, but I did find myself wishing for the Bluetooth connection of a previous Polaroid camera model and the additional features it enables. That said, the camera is well-made and easy to use - just don't expect perfect results each time. The relative unknown of how each photo will turn out adds to both the magic and the frustration of Polaroid use, which should be familiar to anyone who's ever used one of these cameras. If you take a few extra moments to appropriately frame a shot, you should be pleased with the results most of the time. I already know this camera will have a starring role at future parties and gatherings, and I'm in the process of finding a wall mounted solution to display all my shots at home.

    Nice Instant Camera, light photos

The Polaroid was pretty cool and reminded me of my youth. It was easy to setup and use. I have not been able to set the photos in a dark room to develop and have been using the upside down method but the photos are turning out light and with an old quality (like if you pulled out a photo, or polaroid from 20 years ago). I enjoyed using it. Issues are it's bulky and not likely to carry it around with you for picture taking since we have grown used to cell phone and smaller digital cameras. The initial setup is easy, install an 8 film cartridge and eject the cover sheet. That's it you are ready to shoot. The camera has a built in flash (on/off) and extended exposure button (have not tried yet). The view is limited and there is no zoom. What you see in the fixed viewfinder is what you get (it is a smaller shot, not a wide view) Since it takes you back to the days when you could not view the photos before printing you may choose your shots a little better.

I owned at least two Polaroid cameras during my early years. This camera certainly brings back nostalgic memories for me as the look and feel of it is very similar to the original Polaroid cameras. It comes with a USB charger for convenient charging and the neck strap helps when you’re taking it out for a spin to a local event or a party. For what this is, the camera provides a great bit of nostalgia and it’s a wonderful conversation piece. The biggest downside is the length of time that it takes for photos to develop. The old Poloroids developed in about 60 seconds. These take at least 15 minutes and up to an hour or two for 30 photo to fully develop. If you want a bit of nostalgia, this is a great device… Just don’t expect it to replace the camera on your cell phone!
