Posted .Hi RMagloire, I'm sorry to hear that. It may be that you need to adjust the exposure compensation on the camera if you are getting dark results with flash. Please consult the user manual for steps to do this. Additionally, the flash on the camera can only reach about 6-7 feet from the camera maximum, so make sure you don't have a big empty space like an open room behind your subject. For best results, stand about 2-4 feet from your subject and have them stand in front of a wall or backdrop to bounce the flash back to the camera, which will make for brighter photos.
