Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the Now+ Instant Film Camera Generation 2 for its ease of use, rechargeable battery, timer, and double exposure feature. The camera's retro design and USB-C charging are also appreciated. However, some customers find the camera to be a bit large for carrying around. While some appreciate the flash, others feel the camera quality is not as good as older Polaroid cameras.

Works fine in well lit close up shots. If you’re standing far away (say group family pic of 10 people) even in direct sunlight, it will come out dark!

Even by following the directions, its tough to make a great photo. Then you have to wait 15 mins to see what it looks like. Spend $20 on 8 film and only 2 or 3 of them come out lookin okay.

    Fun Camera for Artistic Photography

First off, the film for his camera is very expensive and you don’t get a lot of shots per pack. You have 2 options for film, the classic Polaroid 600 or the new Polaroid I-Type, which was designed specifically for the the new cameras. While the Polaroid Now + is lightweight, the camera is very boxy and bulky, but it is retro chic. With that said, this camera is a lot of fun to use if you are into photography and want to experiment and be artistic. The camera is easy to use, it’s point and shoot, although it’s a bit more complex when you start using it along with the Polaroid app. The app is very cool and it connects to the camera via Bluetooth. The app provides lots of photo taking options including full manual controls where up you can set the shutter speed, aperture, flash, and even whether the photo ejects. This gives you a wide range of artistic control. You can activate the shutter remotely with the app, activate the shutter on a timer, activate the shutter with a noise, like a hand clap, and do double exposures. Another cool mode that the app gives you is light painting, where you can experiment with motion or using a flashlight to add interesting effects like writing, lines or designs to photos. This version of the camera also comes with 5 color filters that you can attach to the lens for additional effects. Whatever settings and filters you decide to use, essentially every photo is really an experiment, but it is a lot of fun to try out different things. As with the classic Polaroid cameras, this camera is fun at parties where you can pass around the photos, if not instantly, pretty quickly. The app also allows you to easily scan your photos to your phone so you can have digital copies. Plus, the app has a link to the Polaroid store too, so you can order more film directly from the app. Overall, I would say that the Polaroid Now + is great for photography enthusiasts who enjoy experimentation

The Polaroid Now+ Instant Film Camera is a delightful blend of nostalgia and modern technology. As a fan of instant photography, I was excited to get my hands on this camera, and it did not disappoint. The design is a perfect tribute to the classic Polaroid cameras of yesteryears, with its iconic rainbow stripe and a retro, yet contemporary feel. It's lightweight and compact, making it easy to carry around, and the build quality feels solid. The camera is available in a range of vibrant colors to suit your style. The star of the show is its instant film capability. The camera uses i-Type and 600 film, producing stunning photos with vivid colors and the signature Polaroid charm. The autofocus system works well, ensuring that your shots are sharp and clear. The double exposure mode and light painting options add creative flair to your photos. The Now+ offers several shooting modes, including portrait, standard, and manual mode. It's easy to switch between modes and adapt to different lighting conditions. The selfie mode is a great addition, with a mirror on the front for framing your self-portraits perfectly. The rechargeable battery is a welcome feature, eliminating the need for constant battery replacements. The camera charges via USB-C and provides a decent number of shots per charge. The camera's viewfinder, however, can be a bit small for some users and takes some getting used to, especially for precise framing. The price of film packs can add up, but that's expected for instant photography. In conclusion, the Polaroid Now+ Instant Film Camera is a fantastic blend of the past and present. It delivers the joy of instant photography with modern convenience and creative options. Whether you're a photography enthusiast or just looking for a fun way to capture moments, this camera is a worthy choice. It's not without its minor quirks, but the overall experience and the tangible, nostalgic joy it brings make it a worthwhile investment for capturing life's moments in an instant.

It’s an okay camera. It doesn’t take the best pictures but it’s okay if you want a camera just for fun. Plus the films are a little pricey.

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear that. Did you travel with the film via airplane? If so, did the film go through security x-rays? That could cause hazy results. Please contact our customer service team at usa [at] polaroid [dot] com and we can help.
